Here's a Christmas themed custom I did for Christmas and thought I show it on here! Green peppermint is a green pony with green eyes and a peppermint wrapped candy, His hair containing red and white! You can use pretty much any acrylic paint so long as you thin it.
I use airbrush flow improver made by Vallejo to thin my paints, I usually use a 50/50 mix, but the mix can vary from paint to paint. You can thin with water though  so people use flow improver and water.
Always clean your brush after using it and before storing it.

So I recently got a airbrush and all that but I need some answers and tips. So I have acrylic paint that I use and what I use to thin it out is just water, dose water work as much as airbrush thinning?

Are you looking for specific poses/characters? I have quite a few standard releases I could sell you for like 50c apiece, I'll DM you with a pic tomorrow if that sounds like something you're looking for.
The g4 brushbles Im looking for Like some I still don't have but having doubles or some extra ponies to use for my customs. DM the picture though.

Thank you all for the great advice! I have been following it and worked wonders! I do need to get the varnish but that is ok. I'll be getting a airbrush here this Christmas so I'm glad for that as well! I have many customs in mind

So I'm practicing painting eyes and I wanted to make an oc of mine, Mint peppermint that some of you already seen so I thought why not practice his eyes on something like a damaged pony.
