it is called profitable decline they put prices up to try and counter act a decrease in sales, thus making people find cheaper alternatives.

i was looking into DHL, but it is still very expensive.

The cheapest (under 100g) to send a packet outside of Europe is going to be £3.30, but very few.  Heck, the cheapest (2nd class) to send a packet WITHIN the UK is going to be £2.20.  My only source of income is what I make from online sales...I'm doomed!

Yet another masterstroke from Royal Mail - their business has been declining for years, and the best they can come up with is a policy which will accelerate the rate of their customers turning elsewhere

If I was in the Royal Mail union - I'd be striking over THAT
