Yes, we have two. One is a 300 lb 32 " Sony Brava in our bedroom. Haven't gotten rid of it because who can lift it???
The other is another Sony that used to be in Anita's bedroom when she was in highschool. Not as heavy, but equally as useless. Both still work well and if anyone is interested, come and get 'em! :LOL

Anita and I made our own risers. We purchased clear dinking glasses of varying height (from yard sales or flea markets) and plexiglass. This way we can control both the height of the shelf and the width. It's also great when you need to move a shelf to a different sized area. This has worked for years.

I'd love to see repro MGR ponies as they are my absolute favorites. I chose MGR and Twinkle Eye from the list but as a third choice I would love to see the boys again.

Yes I have them all I think. I have Goldilocks as well, but not on these shelves.

My daughter has a big collection of G1's G3's and G4's and I would go to pony meets with her. I won a G2 as a raffle prize at one of the meets and it was love at first sight. Now I have a large collection of G2 (about 150 ponies). Of course my daughter supports me in this and surprisingly, so does my husband. Of course he has been supportive of me in my other collections as well (I have about 2,000 Donald Duck figurines and toys). When we have company, he always takes them to see the pony room and to see the duck room. My sister is facinated by my collections and I think a little jealous - hahahaha. My friends think it is strange for a woman my age to collect little plastic ponies, but are not rude about it. I really don't care what other people think. I enjoy it. Although I sometimes wonder what on earth will Anita do with all this stuff after I'm gone.

I like most all of the G2 ponies, with the possible exception of the magic motion sets. More often than not, there is a color mismatch on the part that moves.

You can find a nice curio for a reasonable price at an estate sale, or antique auction. I found a really nice one for my daughter for around 450. (eep...that should be $50)

I had cataract surgery last November on both eyes. The doctor inserted lenses when he removed the cateracts. I was supposed to be able to see both near and far with these lenses, but currently am unable to see close up. He has adopted a wait and see approach, waiting to see if the lenses will "settle" in better. If not, he will use his laser to adjust my eyes so that I can see close up. So, right now I am having trouble reading and even worse, I can't sew!! I am hoping to have this problem taken care of in plenty of time to make some plushies for the Fair in September. Got my fingers crossed.  Even though my close up vision isn't quite right yet, I love not having to wear glasses. I have worn them since I was 9 years old! LOL, for me, that's a really loooong time.
