So I had an account (Nina_Marie_Crochet) specifically for my crochet Monster High doll fashion and etc but since that line has died and with it my favorite MH community I haven't updated it in forever. Maybe someday I will go back.
Just last night I created a new account for all my collecting and crafting interests. It'll be ponies, dolls, action figures, crochet, thrift store adventures. It has one photo so far but it'll start filling up soon with the backlog of stuff I've wanted to share but never had a platform for! NinaMarie_and_Stuff is the name
Edit: I need to invest in some cute fabric for backdrops, I really love the photos I'm seeing.

I hatched 7 eggs yesterday and thought I'd share the results here. I'm going to list the locations they came from as well just for kicks.
x3 Rattatas - Duck, North Carolina; Tampa, Florida; Boston, Massachussets
x2 Sandshrews - both from Bay Lake, Florida
Meowth -Newport News, Virginia
Grimer - Oamaru, Otago New Zealand

I've missed out on pretty much every community day and the potential rewards. The 3 hour window is a bit inconvenient. LOL I learned about the timeframe for the first event AFTER it was over. I think the stars will be aligned today though! I've yet to get a shiny ANYTHING so here's hoping it's my lucky day!
I am actually hoping I hatch a grimer soon. The regular ones are nowhere to be seen around here. I caught one a long time ago and promptly named it smooze. Never seen them since.
Regular Vulpix have been showing up frequently so by the time I hatch any alolan ones I'll have enough candy to evolve two!

Already frustrated with the eggs. I've hatched 3 and two were meowths and 1 a rattata. Rattatas are spawning all over here why the heck would I want to hatch one?? Lol still having fun overall though. I like seeing the stops people got gifts from!

What do you guys think about getting Alolan eggs from the friendship gifts? I've hatched one so far and it was a Meowth. It's hard for me to keep an open space since where I work I can reach two stops and I spin them a lot. Even if you have an open egg space you might not get an egg from a gift. My husband has two open spots and is afraid to visit any stops before he can get eggs from gifts.
Overall it's an interesting feature and adds a different kind of challenge.

Does anyone have any other collections or interests they would be looking to buy/trade for? I have a few Barbies and Monster High i’m trying to sell. Anyone do ATCs? I was thinking of crocheting a few mini plush ponies. I started a G3 Minty but am trying to decide who to do next. I want to match the meet theme. I kind of want to do a twinkle eye and use these Swarovski crystal beads I have for the eyes  My husband is going to come with me and I’m really excited. This is going to be his first time at a meet like this.
