Exquisit!!!  I love the shading around the bridge of the nose! It really gives it more of a realistic textured skull look. The sculpting is so beautiful and flowing, like real leather, not static and stone like a lot of sculpting can look.  :3

are you using a pony as a base?  if so i'd approach it different.  If you arent, then its just deciding whether you want to paint the sculpture or use different colored clays.  Otherwise its all preference and practicality. If you dont have an oven handy, get an airdry clay like premier or creative paperclay or apoxie sculpt.  If you dont like waiting for things to dry go with sculpy and bake it!

If you are using a pony as a base then you need to find a clay that will stick and stay and not ruin the pony in time.  i personally love apoxie sculpt.  It seems to stay on the ponies the best and longest.  Sculpy works too, but it can chip off easily later depending on how thin it is.  And baking a pony can be frighting at first! I use both for different affects, if i want to repaint the whole pony i do the first, because the apoxie is not very colorful.  If i want a match i work with the sculpy, mixing colors to match the plastic.

HI!  ^.^

hope this is ok for here... not really for a pony, but there is not quite any better place.

I am working on a project, and want to use my little pony hair from dollyhair.  I want a light strawberry blonde and cannot find the exact color i want.  I was thinking of using a combination to make the hair look a little more natural anyway.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I like apricot, but it seems a bit too i am not sure... not quite it, though it is close.  I have thought of adding in peach cobbler, peaches and cream, or tigerlily, or all the above, but as i only have apricot to reference in real life i just am not sure what to do. And i would like to make this look a bit more natural than most bright pony colors... though more bright than natural...  if that makes any sense. >_<

and man i have missed all you guys!   ( this is for a senior art show (spring), which is the main reason why i haven't been around much)

HI!  I was going to maybe pick up the pack, though i only really need the skeleton.  I'd be willing to split the pack.  To cover costs i'd need to charge $2.50 for each, so i would charge 5$ + shipping.  I havent ordered it yet, and will wait for a pm from you (or if anyone else wants the others).

i personally dont have these ears, but something that i do when i make bjd with ears like that is to drill a hole in the bottom of the ear and add a magnet.  the magnet goes on the inside of the wig (or head depending how strong it is) and then there can be another magnet or magnetic piece of metal on the ears.  I personally would probably be trimming the ears down and adding the metal on the bottom with some super glue.  Though really tiny magnets can be a bit of a pain at times.

the things i did best were staying away from certain foods and trying really really hard to not over calorie my diet.... the things i did worst were keep track of points, pig out on mt dew when stressed, not excersize like i wanted.  Granted this summer has been the worst summer EVER!!!! so im really really proud i did this well, and i did end up losing about 20 lbs from last christmas.  I lost more, but i gained about 5 or so back.... then lost it again....  I wish i could have been here alot more.  I needed the support and needed to give it, but it was just completly imposible.  :<  so WOOO its almost over, though i think it will continue for me.  I need it. ^_^
So much love to you all and lets see if i can get back here before the complete end!!!!

excited that i have not gained since i got to college, unless muscles count! which meant i musta lost something since i have muscles and didnt gain....   yeah support stinks.  I mean like my parents will be verbally supportive, but then mom goes and buys tons of junk food thinking thats my "favorite food".. never was never will be......  bleh!  at least at college its up to me, although there are more people here berating me for eating sammiches and cereal all the time... but i do not want to start the grilled cheese and pizza cycle.  I have a hard enough time with the soda machines, as they only have juice and milk at breakfast and lunch, and the water is disgusting...  I think people think that if you look like you arent really overweight that you can eat whatever the darn well you please.  blah!
WE cAN DO IT!!!!  ^_^  yea!

im here! I still exist!!!!!  It has been one heck of a summer.... :/  I got going real good after my vacation, but then got a bit depressed and then stressed out and went to my comfort drink, dew..... not good.....  I am finally back to school and so home stuff cant bother me much, but other things always come up.  I have been keeping under my calories most days and have been excersizing, but i havent lost any weight in quite a while.... :<  I lost track of points a long time ago, if we are still doing them.... :/  since back at school i am getting a lot more ecersize, as i have to walk everywhere and carry a crap ton of stuff! so thats good.. bad though is the cafeteria.... i swear everything including the icecream is covered in olive oil.... and not just a little bit...... yuik!!!! so eating a lot of sammiches and cottage cheese.. . yeah... ^_^

Been on vacation last week and havent been able to check in but im still going!!!  Vacation i was actually better than normal since i spent alot of time canoeing and biking and hiking. Woo!!   I am not sure on how many points i have at the moment as i am on my phone but i can update later.

8 pts this week!!!  best week yet!!! ^__^  two fail days, so some of that was from exercise!! ^_^   Bike's finally fixed and am already feeling sore from riding it around to adjust the breaks.
It's been hard though.  There is so much chaotic stupid dama in my life all i want to do is eat chocolate bacon and mt dew.... not mixed together though.  So that has been my downfall.  I finally finished the dew in the house and dad bought more..... sadface.... maybe i'll lock it in the basement closet, but if i get too stressed i know where i'll be.... :<
BUT, in finishing commissions and craft shows for the summer i wont have the stress of getting things done in a timely matter, so i can concentrate on unpacking and clearing out things.  I am trying to combine both being healthier physically and living healthier, as in with not as much stuff.   I come from a family of hoarders and after our last move i have realized that i could very well have the tendency to have that happen too..... especially with being an artist and having many collections.  :/  so the goal of the summer, be healthier, live healthier, and save money while doing so! ^_^  (stop buying junk to eat and junk to pile up!)

and i must say that surfstar you are amazing!!! <3  just crazy amazing! ^_^   thanks for the support every one.  It has been quite helpful.   <3 u all!!!
