Another New Version of Veny applejack just hit ebay
« on: August 27, 2013, 10:41:01 AM »
One of the Veny sellers has just listed a New Version of Applejack.
Please correct me if I am wrong, I don't believe we have seen this color version yet...
Turquoise blue /  red apples / coral hair on ebay.
I am starting to wonder if some of these are being newly produced from the original molds ;)

ugh why this seller...

yah, unless it's a squeaky butt that's got hair now, it's a new version - this seller seems to have nothing but unique OOAK ponies so quite the luck

Don't know about Squeaky butt's because I have not been keeping tabs on them ^.^ but I have heard members here talking about giving them tails and hair so it's possible I suppose.  Not sure if the tail hole is finished with them or ragged though.  If the squeaky's tail hole is ragged that would be one way to tell if it's a remade pony.

How weird, her body looks dyed to me :lookround: and a couple of those apples just don't look right  :| There are argentina ponies popping up too, that are questionable  Don't know if they figured out how to make (custom) that look legit, or if these are factory errors or what  confusing.

oh I know - again it's "that seller" with the sparkler-glory...always a sparkler or microphone symbol variant

on the one hand I cannot blame folks for realizing the money in these "toys" but on the other it is making me so much more nervous about considering to invest in something like this

I agree, I really wish we had good intel in Venezuela like we have Marian in Buenos Aires and Hathorcat in the UK/Scotland to tell us about her poundshop memories etc.

just wish we could know more about what is all getting found down south of the border these days

update =

well I wrote to her on ebay to ask for pics of the tail so hopefully she will post more and clear that up... cool find if it was from a lot from way back whenever.

For her being a Barbie collector, her MLP stash is / was amazing!

Hopefully a look at her tail hole will clear things up :)

looks like she's got some pindot to me ;)  but still pretty!

I just bought a squeaker pony and without taking her squeaker out the tail hole does look 'finished' and on the inside there's that little round pointed blob of plastic just about attached to one side of her body where the machine pushed it through.

look forward to seeing any additional pics of this one  :D

It looks just like my squeaky butt Vennie Applejack, only with hair. My squeaky has that same body. Maybe they've just added hair to it. I don't think it would be that hard to add, especially the tail, because the squeaker pops out.

Yeh. That was the first thing I noticed. The blotchy color.
I had a blue lickety split and she was a solid blue. I hope this applejack is

Is it just me or, does anyone else see the yellow hues/tints by her buttocks and on her ear on the second to the last photo when her bum is toward you?

I hope that she is legit, a blue Applejack with hair would be neat :)

A pretty pony she is, but she looks strange. I am not an expert on venezuelans but she just looks different, the paint that is.

I'm agreeing with the people thinking that her body looks dyed.

Got a Squeaky butt look to her IMO.  Need clearer photos, they're just not 'sharp' enough.

I'm not even into ponies anymore but found the auction by chance and had to come here, lol. As an old AJ/BT variant collector she is very interesting - but indeed the colour looks blotchy. I guess it could just be degrading plastic though. What's the story with the seller, is there an old thread about them anyone would care to link me to?

And how easy would it be for someone to print pony symbols themselves? Say you had a Bowtie, wiped the symbols and printed apples on her bum instead. Not saying this is what happened here, but do you think it has happened?
