Title: Photobucket links?
Post by: Leopard_Print_Unicorn on October 23, 2016, 05:32:59 PM: Does anyone know why I can't copy and paste links from photobucket anymore? I "Commmand+C" and then "Command+V" and what gets pasted is the last thing I copied and pasted on another site.

Are we still even using photobucket for photo sharing anymore? I'm old and I might be out of the loop, I don't have an instagram or Facebook or anything like that.

I'm bummed because I wanna post a brag on my new nirvana baby but I can't get my pictures in the post :sad:

Post by: jrr74 on October 23, 2016, 08:21:37 PM: I just used photobucket earlier today for a post. I do it differently though, and much more complicated apparently

Move cursor over the three bars in the top left hand corner of chosen picture
Click Share and four photo links options should appear on the right side
Click on the IMG option (bottom one) and then right click mouse to select copy
Paste link directly on to your post
delete everything up to [IMG], in other words, the URL address, also delete [/URL] found at the end of the link

then to be on the safe side, click preview

How funny...I used Flickr faithfully until it started acting up on me and now I use photobucket! Lol

Post by: ghouldilocks on October 24, 2016, 01:18:41 PM: I haven't used Photobucket in several years, but I've never had a problem copying the image codes over from flickr - the steps I use for photo sharing from flickr are the same as jrr uses with Photobucket, though...just opening the share menu and copying the bb code over, then deleting the code that would make it a link (I prefer the flat images).

This should work. Strange things are afoot... I usually use the app though, so I haven't been on the actual site for a while. If my images are huge, sorry mods!
