How can we upload pictures?

Hello Friends,

I'm new to forums and can't seem to figure out how to include pictures in my messages.  I see the Mona Lisa icon but just get "visitors can't see pics , please register or login
.  I assume I need to put something in there but I don't know what.

A few people asked for photos of restorations/ art.  I just don't know how!

That's unusual, I get IMG tags whenever I click on it. 

Anyways, you need to use IMG tags - those can be typed manually, you don't have to use a forum tool. Just remove the asterisks (*) in order for the code to work. Capitalization of the letters does not matter. You'll need to right click on an image, select 'Copy Image URL' (or just copy, if you're on a mobile device) and paste it where I indicated.

Thanks for your help!  So far I haven't been able to do it.  I'll revisit again tomorrow and try a few different ways you suggested.

First you will need to upload the pictures on a pic hosting site, for example Photobucket. Then copy & paste the URL like Sundown explained.

Excellent, that makes more sense!  I did figure out that Google plus offers something similar.  You can share a link to your albums.  I'll probably mess this up... but let me make a quick try here and you can tell me if it works.  Please excuse my poor bald Sweet Pop!

The IMG code won't work with a link to an album, it only works for the individual image itself (so it will end in .jpg, .gif, or .png most commonly).

To link to an album you would need to use the URL code:
[*URL=link goes here]text to click on goes here[*/URL]
