Well, now I want to get a Nova just to see if I get a white striped one.

I do too and I'm glad I have two.  But now I feel like I'm going to need the pink striped one because... no good reason.  I just do.

I just went and peered at my Nova and she has white stripes. She's the only one I have in the box still at the moment and I will keep her there. Hopefully then manage to get a pink one to take out of box xD.

The pink does stand out more, but I quite like the white.

I wonder if this is why some stores here were getting boxes of just Nova. It was a way of clearing out the white stripes to make room for the pink ones. That may make sense...

I want the pink stripped Nova!!! When I got mine I was disappointed her colors weren’t closer to the original art. Not sure how to get her though since you can’t exactly tell what Amazon will send…

Polaris should have darker blue stripes as well so they show up in contrast to her color like the art.

I kind of think I like the white stripes a bit better! But it's always fun for something to find. Reminds me of dark Bowtie.

That is SO cool. I'm glad that my fav in the set got a variation. I can't decide which one I like better though...

I originally ordered my set from Amazon several weeks ago, and had white stripes Nova.  After hearing the pink stripe hype, I ordered another from Walmart, and I got another white stripe 😩😭

Very interesting! Mine has white stripes, but I definitely wouldn't mind owning both variants. Definitely would be worried about just getting another white one if I bought her online, and no place locally sells them. Maybe secondhand will be the answer?

I wonder if Nova's stripes changing are similar to BF making the first run of Rainbow ponies scented and then changing them to regular ponies after the scented ones were all sold.

Very interesting news about the alternate Nova! Since she is my favorite of the bunch I will absolutely feel the need to try and get the pink stripe alternate haha! I think I slightly prefer the white, but the pink arguably does match the art better and gives her more a pop. I’ll try and wait til later so the white stripe ones all (hopefully) sell out!
