Title: Hello (again)!
Post by: Radiance on January 24, 2012, 05:18:46 PM: OK, So I'm pretty sure I posted an intro a while back, but just in case, now that I'm getting more involved in the community, here's my intro again!

I'm 32, married, work for my family's business as a bookkeeper, and also go to college as a Radiographic Sciences major. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and one real life little pony named Jupiter. I loved MLPs as a kid and remember my first, Minty! I simply loved that pony! I had to give away my collection before a cross country move, and have just started collecting again. I love G1s and have a few, including a FF Minty just like the one I had as a kid! I also have a few G3s and a couple of G4s so far, and I hope to add many more to my little herd. I booked my room for the 2012 Convention in Orlando the other day and I'm super excited to meet some other collectors. I'll be saving my pennies for the con and hopefully I'll be driving home with a car full of new ponies! I also collect Blythe dolls and BJDs. I just finished customizing my first Blythe and I'd love to learn how to customize MLPs one day. That's all for now!

Something really cool just happened; I just in the past couple of days reconnected with a good friend from high school, and wouldn't you know it-- she's going to the fair too! I had no idea she was a pony collector; we have not seen or talked to each other in years! We'll get to hang out and catch up while surrounded by ponies! I have to say that MLPs are really one of the most positive things going on in my life right now. They're really special!
