Well, I recently had to fill out a Customs form for a package to the EU. Because its contents were hand-made, I called them hand-crocheted figures. With vintage MLP I suppose we can get away with vintage collectibles, but toys are an issue on the list (which I looked up) as we're no longer under the CE bracket. Just a wee heads-up for sellers; if you want to send to the EU, collectibles is better than toys, especially when the customer is an adult.

Vintage and collectible mostly means "valuable" to customs. And if the value on the package is low and marked as a gift chance is package will be opened up to check. Where I live I have to pay import costs.
So when I ship abroad I try not to mention that. Unless it was something very expensive. But then it will be shipped insured ofcourse.

I too have been back to MLPs as I have so many from "The Olden Days"
Yes - I always tidy up my ponies to list for sale.
Yes - I always give a detailed description noting any marks, dry hair etc. etc. etc.
Yes - I always offer safe postage, registered, express postage etc. etc etc.
I have listed some about a year ago, and was sad to see them go. Thought I should list some more for sale, but yes - pony sales have changed. Collectors are not around any more - modern people have too many other distractions with all the technology about.
Sad but true - I many just have to leave them and let my family deal with them when I am gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(trying to list some this weekend. WILL post overseas if asked - $40 most countries- Australia $11 - $15 Express postage. YES postage is the killer!!
