I've had my G1 collection stored in closed plastic boxes for + 20 years and as far as I can tell they're still okay, but to be sure I've started buying organic cotton boxes (I think there's cardboard under the cotton fabric) for my G1 babies.

I was never very active posting on the forum, but always enjoyed reading many posts. Due to changes in life I got sight tracked from MLP and the forum years ago, even sold most of my G2 and G3 collection, but I absolutely love seeing "old" members still being active here when I log in. It brings back happy memories as this feels like such a safe and loving place.

Hello everyone,
I sold ponies out of necessity a while back. This may sound silly and overly emotional but I miss them. They were all very dear to me and I have replaced some of them but I still miss the ones I don't have back yet.
Annyone going through the same?
I still feel a bit silly but I felt like sharing.
Not going through this, but just wanted to say that I don't think it's silly and it's good that you share your feelings. I hope you'll find them soon.

I used to keep my accessories in little plastic bags, but I think I'd rather let them breathe. Does anyone have experience in keeping ponies and/or accessories in white organza bags? Would it be safe or could e.g. the pearly layer of the pretty 'n pearly baby sea ponies be damaged by the fabric? To protect everything from dust I'm thinking about storage in cotton boxes instead of plastic, so the plastic can breathe. I don't know, maybe it will protect things from becoming sticky with warm weather?? My collection is stored in a dry place, so no need to protect from mold. Thank you
