Pony Corral / Re: retro ponies/stranger things crossover????

Thank you for the screenshot and information, Moonbreeze! It makes me sad that there is such an imbalance with how the ponies are being distributed. It eats up so much of my budget having to buy them from overseas. Hey, Basic Fun, that means I would buy more of your products if I could get them directly here! :D

They're not coming to Europe :( I would really appreciate it if someone could pick some up for me <3

Is that a conclusion or did they actually state that? I had been hoping so hard that worldwide actually means worldwide...  :(

Oh that's sad. But who knows, maybe G5 can breathe new life into it!

I'm out of the loop and curious, why is it the last one? Because G4 is coming to an end?

Imgur only allows commenting and voting if you publish it to the community. As long as you don't do that, people won't be able to.

Kindle Fire is a tablet, right? I usually paste things by tapping on the spot where you want it posted, keep your finger on the display until a popup comes that says something like "paste". Tap on paste, and the link will be posted. You will then need to tell the forum that what you posted is a picture, either by highlighting the link text (just as if you wanted to copy it), and then tapping on the icon here on the forum that says "insert image", or by manually entering the code for a picture. To do it manually, you need the opening code right at the front of the picture link, and the closing link right at the end of it - make sure there is no empty space! The opening code is [ img ] and the closing code is [ /img ] (so with a / in it) but without the spaces between the brackets and the text - I had to insert them here in order to make it visible.

What countries does "worldwide" include? I haven't seen any of the repros in stores here even tho Germany was supposed to get them. So distribution seems to be real spotty for the Basic Fun stuff.

I am looking for them right now, so it would be nice if I could get an official source for the worldwide release? If the info is in the thread somewhere I missed it/ can't find it.

Should you find out where they are sold here, please let me know, as I am wondering myself!

There are no actual big toy stores where I am, at least I don't know any since Toys R Us closed down. There is a Müller close-ish that has quite a big toy area, but they aren't stocked well on MLP, and I haven't seen any of the reproductions there, so I doubt they will get her or the bag. Amazon is just sad with their repro stock. I'm in the Netherlands on a regular basis, but both toy stores in the city I travel to have closed down so other than online, I don't have anywhere to buy my pony stuff.

I've contacted EMP since they have lots of merch, but they did not list her or the bag in ST merch they will be offering with the start of S3.

That's so annoying, really. We're in the middle of Europe here but MLP stuff wise it feels like we're at the end of the world.

Worldwide release, well that gives me hope!!

I definitely need two ones - one to keep in box, and one to display and take pictures of. First time I heard of this pony, my mind went into overdrive and it must be soooo cool to build a ST themed diorama for this pony!

I love Stranger Things (at least season 1, have to rewatch season 2 before 3 airs which means I probably should get going soon!), and I'd totally buy this pony - and should they make more, them, too! My biggest worry is though that we here in Europe will get the shorter end of the stick and not have it in shops here, so that we need to order from the US.

This is a series I am sooo much looking forward to! I need something new to obsess over now that Game of Thrones has ended. Like brightberry said, I need to rewatch the film since I hardly remember anything from childhood days. I do remember that I loved the film, just like my sister, so hopefully it will be something her and I can obsess over together again :) I got her hooked on GoT and she was devastated about the ending, not even wanting to ever hear anything about it again.

Off Topic / Re: Real life horses & ponies - do you love them too?
« on: May 30, 2019, 02:10:44 AM »
I was crazy about horses as a child. My room was plastered in horse posters, I read all books and magazines I could find about horses, watched all the TV series (Black Beauty, Fury, Flicka are the ones I remember) so being playing with MLP was a no brainer. I had lots of Barbie horses, too, but only played with them, not with the Barbies (except with one friend who always wanted to play with Barbies, that's why I got one doll for). Whenever I saw a horse somewhere, I had to go up to it, try to pet it and generally just stand there and be in awe about it.

I've always kept an interest in horses, but lost the obsession growing up. My partner gifted me riding lessons when I was in my 30s as a birthday present, but it turned out to be less of a stellar experience than we had both hoped lol. At that time, I was overweight and extremely unfit, so it was a very straining and exhausting experience (for both me and the poor horse). After a couple of sessions, I got kicked off the horse, flew through the air, landed smack on my butt and broke my tailbone. I had to spend the next four weeks lying on my stomach in a lot of pain, and for the next three years, whenever I had to sit for a longer period of time, it would start hurting again. Roadtrips weren't fun during that time!

I'm a lot fitter and not overweight anymore today and thought about trying it again, but I am happy with adoring horses from afar, and just obsessing over the ones made of plastic now!

Wanted! / Horror hair G1
« on: May 18, 2019, 08:02:12 AM »
Looking for G1 with horror hair! Body at least good condition, hair uncut, but a mess - tangles, frizz to a felt mat, stuff stuck in it, all is welcome. Throw your hairy pony problems at me!
Located in Germany, preferably EU sellers.

Ohh what a pretty chaise longue! Also vote for the grey!

I'm kinda collecting crafting material. I get all hyped up about a possible new craft project, read all the guides, watch all the tutorials I can get, then I buy all the stuff I need and then I have a hard time getting through the first few projects that don't pass my own perfection standard tests and get all frustrated and stop. Trying not to do that this time, and actually go through and invest the time to learn and get better with polymer clay!

My dog is also a huge money sink. New brushes, toys, treats - pets are a bottomless pit nowadays! Currently restraining myself from buying all the supplies for making paracord leashes because - see above, still have other craft projects I want to take care of first.

I'm also spending money on several subscriptions - Netflix, currently Sky for Game of Thrones, a fitness & tracker app for my phone, games. Been also spending some money on in-app purchases for photo apps to use with my Insta.

Sounds like a lot, but at least I don't go shopping for clothes, shoes, handbags and makeup a lot like so many other women do. I rarely shop those things (unless for clothes, it's GoT or MLP stuff I come across, having a hard time not to buy that stuff!).
