The Royal Wedding set - Where can I find it?

I believe they mentioned the set wouldn't be out until August. 

I could have sworn that some toys (which I presumed to mean the castle set and wedding-themed ponies) were supposed to be out in spring, and fall was when the rest of the new ponies from the toy faire (the Nightmare Moon set, etc) were going to be released. But I could very well be wrong. It would sure make more sense than releasing the toys so long after the episode airs, though!

I've heard both spring (May/June) and August from different sources so I guess it's just a wait and see at this point.

If we go by the Canterlot special release last year, it would be July, IIRC.  But I do hope that Hasbro releases *something* new soon because otherwise that's a really long wait with nothing new in stores for months.

I think its more likely to be May/June...the CMC Flower girls are due out next month according to some of the online bulk stockists - they do tend to get them a little ahead of them hitting stores though and at the moment the only new items the main ones have listed are the CMC Flower girls and the DD & FS Glimmer Wings.

it would have to be held together by something, the bottom is a lot lighter than the top. it snaps together and would fall apart if you hung it. maybe zip ties???

Random question, but the Candence that you got, did it have fully purple wings? I'm trying to see from the video but I'm kind of unsure. Cx

I feel like they should have released it shorty after the season finally. I hope we don't have to wait until Fall to get the sets. But they might be holding off the bigger wedding items until then so it is closer to Christmas toy shopping time.

Maybe it would help to look back and see how long they waited on Pinkie Pies Train Set?  When did we first see pics of it? and how long did it take to show up on shelves?

I just hope there is a fair distribution of the castle. If it is only released in the US I am NOT going to be happy, postage is going to be a killer on such a bulky item

You know what would tide me over untill the non-CMC flower girls hit? THEIR NAMES. Unfortunatly, unless they show up fully boxed on Taobao we probably won't know untill they are in stores. I was kind of hoping the episode would mention them.

They have popped up in Canada, though not in many places.

That doesn't change anything. The Sweet Slumbers set is part of the third wave of the story packs. We've only gotten the first wave of story packs (the Pinkie Pie & Sweetie Belle set and the Fluttershy nursery set) in the US, so it's very unlikely that we'll see any more of the story packs in the US.

I really hope the castle set won't be too expensive. I really want Shining Armor and Cadence, even more so now after seeing the finale, but I don't have room for the castle so I couldn't keep it. And if I can't find anyone who wants to trade for it or buy it from me, I'll be stuck with the big expensive set just like I'm stuck with the carousel set. But with the carousel, I got it on clearance so I don't feel quite as bad about it sitting and collecting dust. I just really hope the castle won't cost more than $30.
