Pony Corral / Re: Who is your ultimate grail (March 2022)?

Definitely G1 Crumpet and Baby Crumpet. I'll likely never find them but a girl can dream! :D

Pony Corral / Re: Who was the very first G3 you ever bought?

I was given Coconut Grove as a birthday gift (my first G3), and later went out and bought Silver Glow.

Hey everyone!
It's been a long while since I've been online and in the community (and I'm very sorry if I've got the wrong forum, I wasn't sure if this would go in Pony Corral, Arts and Crafts or Brag as there are a few Grails here for me), but I recently started collecting again and have managed to pick up one of my minor Grails - the Parasol stuffed toy - and a suspected G2 Grail (I think it's Princess Silverswirl) along with a few various others.

I'm looking for positive ID's on the G2's (especially to be sure if that is Silverswirl, I know a few variant releases were sold) and on the G3 baby.

Additionally I'm also after restoration tips - the damage is mostly minor, related to general grubbiness which can be solved with a bath, but there's also what looks like nail varnish on a few, pen marks, and quite a few have either one or both eye gems missing. Parasol's mane has some stitching coming loose at the bottom of her neck but that's an easy fix, she's in need of a good wash though and all of them are in need of some serious hair TLC! It looks like (Silverswirl?) has some pain chipped off on her horn and hooves, so what would be best to use to repaint her chipped parts too?
So with that in mind - what is the best method for removing marks without damaging the paintwork and symbols, where can I find some replacement eye gems, and how is it best to clean and wash Parasol please?

Many thanks in advance!

Customs / Re: Any UK restorers/customisers with dye experience?
« on: September 04, 2016, 01:46:26 PM »
Not a helpful comment I'm afraid as I'm also very interested in dying ponies with any products that are available in the UK. Even products easily accessed for removing symbols and such.

I've found an old custom attempt - my first one, that unfortunately got knocked off my shelf at university by an inconsiderate flatmate drunkenly invading my room and ruined the paintwork - a demoralised me packed her away with wishes to return to her later!
Also what is best to remove acrylic paint? :)

I'm sorry for hijacking your post BrokenBlossom!

Adoptables / REQUEST: My RL Pony please!
« on: May 30, 2016, 01:34:44 PM »
Hello all :) I would like to please have a request for adoptables of my RL pony, Clegg.

He's a little Exmoor Pony and his show name is Prince William, so while I can attach a pic for his appearance/colours/design I would like his butt symbol to resemble his show name rather than his stable name.

Butt symbol: A golden crown please, with some blue zircon/aquamarine/diamonds.
Hoof symbol, front left hoof: Small golden star please.
Both symbols glittery if possible please.
His eyes are brown.

Adoptables / G1 Crumpet - adoptable request!
« on: July 06, 2015, 12:57:45 PM »
Hi all, I was wondering please if anyone had any adoptables made/would be so kind as to make me an adoptable of G1 Crumpet?
She's my absolute favourite G1 pony and I can't believe it has taken me so long to ask for pretty pictures of her!

Off Topic / Fun Fundraising!
« on: October 18, 2013, 11:07:32 PM »
Boo! Just a post to ask if anyone is doing any fundraising in fun, wacky ways and manners this year :) With Stoptober and Movember going on and coming up - there are tons of different ideas!

I'm doing No Stirrups November, with the permission of the riding school, in my flatwork and dressage competition. I'm going to end up with bruises on my legs the size of Australia - but its all towards Cancer Research UK so the pain will be worth it :) (Shameless plug - there's a link in my sig if anyone would be so kind as to donate <3)

So is anyone else doing anything insanely fun/painful/wacky/etc for fundraising ideas? Can be for anything - for charity, for bills, in aid of a friend.

Sigs & Site Support / Re: Sig check!
« on: October 10, 2013, 09:58:45 AM »
Aah I see, I'll just stick my old sig back up then for now until I have time to sort it xD Thanks Kiwi!

Is it OK for me to have my JustGiving page linked in though, just in case anyone wants to donate? Not as a picture but just as a linked word
