but I lost yet more gems.   Yesterday I had 33 (after laboriously clearing bugs) - today there was just a few-  I must have hit "use gems" when I cleared a rock or something.  I hate how easy it is to loose the gems, considering how slowly they accumulate.

so very easy, I used to hit the gems so often at the begining   and then I let my nephew play and he used them up too a couple of times:)

I got the Christmas update today!!! I still only have 24 of my 98 friends showing up in the game. And I haven't found the "watch ads for free gems" thing either.

The button seemed to have disappeared for me. Maybe it's now region-coded and won't let you have free gems if no ads is available in my area?

Also, I found that the balloon pop games can potentially be used to get gems too if you play the one that uses hearts. So if you have a large number of hearts, well, this is one way to get gems.

One more thing: I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but...

Here's a chart that shows what colored parasprites are removed by which gem that appears ingame when you do not have enough gems to clear out the parasprites.

Is this Christmas update available on the Kindle Fire?  I don't see anything in game and when I try to download Google Play to do it, Google Play doesn't seem to be a possibility for Kindle.

Finally got the winter update yesterday!  I like the new quests (since some give out gems), and the "box pony" seems to be giving out more gems as well.

Be warned though - it disables the "Airplane Mode" exploit, so no more ability to buy "play" ponies.

They did fix something that had been bothering me, though.  Snips (the little boy pony) is now finally foal-sized.  For the longest time, he'd been full-adult size and it was creeping me out!  Reminded me of Sloth from the Goonies.

This same thing keeps happening to me! I have 19 friends on the Gameloft site... and only half of them show up in the game

And I'm getting multiple hearts per day from the same username, but am unable to find this person in my game to send hearts back. This might be a glitch, though, because I don't know why someone would be able to send me so many hearts in a day, anyway. I think maybe the game is confusing the names of senders and giving them all the same name or something...?

So confusing and frustrating!

(And I'm astroasis on Gameloft too, if anyone wants to add me )
