the airplane mode does not work anymore, i tried to buy the new pony but did not give the coin price anymore like before,I was able to buy sweetie belle finally, 4or 5 new xmas decor items  are now available and the whole things iscovered with snow. I was able to buy a new pony for coins and a new store as well .looks very nice i have to say

When the game was new- I guiltily admit that I spent some $$ and spent it all on balloon pop. (That was before the discovery that most of the ponies could be purchased if you turn on airplane mode).  On the upside of playing that cursed game, the chance of getting good stuff through it is pretty good (got a lot of statutes, ice sculptures and the ponies very fast- lots of grain silos too which was less exciting...)

The problem with this game is that it got so boring so fast.   There are no seasonal updates, no new decorations, nothing particularly awesome to buy with "bits".   And it is sad that so many of the ponies and objects cost $50 or more to buy-

Also- if you were tempted by the "Get free gems!" offer-  I would say don't do it.  I tried one of them in my desperation to get Cadence, went through the song and dance of signing up for something I don't want - waiting a few days and cancelling- and NEVER got the promised gems.  Gameloft said they were looking into it last I heard-  that was last week. 

My biggest problem with this game is the in-game friends feature-  the game requires friends and trading - but the feature doesn't work.  I have 150+ friends, but 98% of them don't show up in my in-game list.   I haven't seen a new friend added since November.  Gameloft (I thought) had promised a patch to fix this glitch, but I haven't seen any.  If they would fix the friends feature, we would all, at the very least, have all of the ponies that can be bought with hearts.

Anyone getting an internet connection error every 30 secs like me? I'm getting a router for Christmas, so hopefully it'll go away. Also, my phone keeps overheating when I play for awhile!

I'm still not seeing the updates. I have my game set to update automaticly. One person was added to my friend list, but that's the only change I see.

Is there a limit to how many gems you can get by watching ads?

If not, then I know how I'm getting Rarity

It depends on how many ads are available, but it looks to be about 5 a day and then the button goes away.

The gems you buy are on sale again. The two largest ones are 50% off PLUS they raised the ammount of gems you get. I'm still not buying any.

Finally an update! 

THey did fix the friends feature- I don't think everyone is there but definitely Much much more-

They also fixed the glitch(?) where balloon ponies appeared for bits-
I just lost my last gems playing balloon pop and got absolutely nothing... 
The Christmas decorations are cute...

I can send gems daily to newer friends- but if I already sent you like 30 after playing "time traveler pony" - I have to wait for the time to catch up to me a bit...

I got gems watching the ads ,I saw 10 times the jack in the box ad  LOL  until the get free gems button went away.
I bought some gems to get rarity  4.99 was giving me enough gems to get her .

The new update has ruined the game. I'm so disappointed. The background, objects and all the buildings are all the same color:

This is the worst glitch ever It makes it impossible to edit the background or add new buildings because you cannot see where stuff is, etc.
