I have 2 friends showing up on mine, besides celestia. I am now down to only one quest, and that requires me finding 3 treasure chests x.x I'm doomed to never find all three, so far I've only had one person put a chest in my ponyville

I would totally help you out if I could actually visit my friends' villages x3x it keeps saying I can visit because they "have a different version". :<

mine still doesn't recognize my internet connection at home.  I did place a few treasure chests at my lunch break at work (where the app works on the internet)!

(I checked gamelofts support pages and they say "talk to your internet service provider". great.)

I have noticed also that if you send a gift only pressing on the present button, the friend will not receive it, but you have to actually visit the village.

Hope that they will fix this soon:)

To add friends you need to set up a gameloft ID. You can do that from the Gameloft Live icon. Once that is set up go back into the Gameloft Live icon and click friends and search. Type in the user ID and it will send a friend request. Once the person accepts the request they will show up in your friends list. There really should have been a tutorial on how to do that in the game. I guess Gameloft assumed everyone had played their games before.

Once you have your ID post it here and I will add you to my friend list.

Well, a few treasure chests shown up in my Ponyville, but then it's not possible to see who they're from.

Also, the game is glitching up on me. Paths that I cannot remove are randomly appearing on the map, and disappearing again just as mysteriously. Also, apparently, areas randomly grow stuff that wasn't there before. A swarm of parasprites actually shown up in a place on my map where there was previously none when I quit and reopen the app, and that totally screwed up my plans to build something in the area

I wonder if it has anything to do with me running two copies of the game at the same time on two different iPads and yet still signed in to the same account...

The game is adorable but I'm kind of irritated at how slowly bits are generated in-game. If you want to "level up" your Ponies (you really need to do the 1000 bit 2x bonus to make it worth your while) but you also have an expensive quest to save for it slows the game's pace down considerably.

Also, did you know that if you see a cardboard box wandering around you can tap it and have Bubbly Grey Pegasus join your Ponyville for a while? You get bits too.
You can also tap trees and haystacks to get bits.
