calling all transformer bots, i need your help on fakie/knockoff. pos. vintage

just found this today in an op shop, just wondering if there was any info on it. its got some weird and wild comments on the box 
if its just rubbish and not worth anything il open it and give it to my son. he loves his TF's and has a couple  knockoffs from the $2 shop plus kreo bootleg fakies too in his kreo collection as well as lego TF fakies.
it actually looks like its going to full apart if he does play with it. it looks old

I'm ashamed to say that I'm a Transformers fan yet I don't know anything about all the knock-offs. *Pulls a brown paper bag over her head*

Huge Transformer fan, no clue on the fakie though. It is pretty neat, almost like a piece of Devastator/construction bot.

yes i did, i put in ... 'Robot Transmutable' and 'King's Robot' but nothing came up.....hehe silly names

Now that you mention it, it does look like a piece of Devastator (and noticing the art of the robot character it looks like a repainted fakie version of Devastator)! =O

Yes that is part of Devastator :3 my hubby recognized it right away. In fact he had a newer complete one.

cool i wonder if its worth anything if there is a TF fakie community like there is a MLP fakie community

im itching to open it but would hate to do that and then find out someones after it as is

I don't think they are worth anything as they still make them sometimes you can find complete knock-off Devastators in Easter baskets...The one fake Transformer I always wanted but could never find was the  one based on the Titanic.

I don't even think the Transformer World 2005 forum site I am a member of even has a detailed section of their resources section for fakes/knock offs, to be perfectly honest with you. I can see if I can contact any of the siteam administration on there and see if they have any knowledge of this particular fake and such, if you want me to.

only if you don't mind im not holding my breath nor wishing it was something pricey but good to know if there was any info on it to say how old it is or worth keeping moc (though not very mint )
