Actually the Zelfs don't have any kind of official connection to the Trolls. They are made by an entirely different company and not licensed by them either. That is probably why there is no mention of the word Troll in any of the marketing too.

I saw these in store, went "oh no!" and looked them up when I got home.

Then I went back the very next day and bought them ALL (except that ultra rare one )

I was concerned when I saw the website said this was only series 1.  Now I'm SUPER concerned because this picture that was posted says they will be released every 3 months!  (I'm a completionist, so yeah, SUPER concerned!)

Anyway, if anyone sees the ultra rare Clover Zelf grab it (and sell it to me.....)

Yeah, one of the first things I did when I got home to look them up, was to try and figure out how "rare" this Clover one would be.  Could I buy it cheap-ish on Ebay?  Was it available to order directly from a store?  But all I found out was that they were SO new, no one had them online, and if I did see them, they were DOUBLE what TRU wanted, so I went back and got them all while I could!

I really hope finding Miss Clover won't break my bank!  I also hope that the ultra rares aren't released every 3 months too

I remember seeing somewhere that there would be only 10 000 Miss Clovers worldwide but I don´t remember where it was

To me they kind of remind me of Trolls.  When I saw them the other day that was the first thing I thought...another take on the past Troll Craze.  I have no plans to get any of these because, they remind me too much of a troll like creature.  I can see where people will love them though.  So have fun collecting.

I have two miniature ones already, and some of the tiny pencil-topper ones that come in little plastic pots! I'm disappointed to hear that Clover will be even more limited than I thought she would. I'll definitely have to keep her in box if I find her.

These are seriously so cute-  where are people finding them?  I've never seen them...

Aaah! I know they tried to rebrand Treasure Trolls a few years back and it didn't really take off. I like this approach WAY BETTER. The faces are so reminiscent of the Trolls that I associated them right away. But they're a brand new, modern toy. I love them! I'm not collecting toys as much as I used to (TOO MUCH CLUTTER, oh my gosh, I had to stick to ponies) but... I might be tempted to pick up one or two of these if I see them around, once I get unpacked and see where there's room...

I picked up a mini today, got glittery Howlette. They're cute little things!

Oh and the large ones have three different finishes - glow, glitter or pearly. >.<

THANK GOD I don't get to go to TRU very often... Between the ponies and monsters, I don't think I have anymore shelf space!
