Hi all :) I'm looking to buy some Barbie clothes, especially Raquelle's, and especially this outfit:

I like Raquelle's darker colour scheme with red most for a custom doll I have in the works, but I'll consider anything! I really really really want the outfit pictured so I will buy the whole doll if needed. Thanks~! Xx

The Dollhouse / Obitsu bodies and similar?
« on: January 19, 2015, 11:16:06 AM »
So, a while ago I found a W.I.T.C.H. fashion doll for sale for a steal, and she really caught my eye. I think she's called the 'Trendy' Will doll. The only problem is she has next to no articulation,  which I would really prefer. I looked at obitsu bodies but their natural skin tone looks like it would be too pale. I'd really like to rebody this doll so does anyone have any suggestions for a skin tone match? I'm guessing a pullip body would work well because of the vast selection of skin tones available.

Pony Corral / Re: Thrift Store Olympics

I once saw 4 pink hooves sticking out of a pile of plush in a thrift store... 4 feathered hooves. I don't think I'd ever moved faster in my life! I scored Steamer for 50p, as well as Cotton Candy and Cherries Jubilee, who was wearing his bandana.

Wanted! / OFF TOPIC// Lalaloopsy ponies
« on: July 16, 2014, 05:01:22 AM »
I've been after the sweets-based Lalaloopsy ponies for a while now, but since they're not sold in my country the prices on ebay for them are extortionate.  Does anyone have them for sale here? I'm after Mocha, Ropes, Mallow and Waffles :)

Awwwww! Thanks for sharing, they are adorable.  I used to have 3 rats for the same reason you said, it is a good idea to get 3, the more the merrier! I love the little babies ^_^ This thread makes me want to go adopt some.

Wow, Hasbro your quality control is astounding.

It makes me wonder how the eyes are actually applied. Are they stamps? Printed on?

I love this guy's work, I really wish I could own a piece of his. They're probably all very expensive though, I've never seen one up for sale.

Hi there, I would really, really like to get my hands on Mocha, Waffles, Mallow and Ribbons (plastic, not plush). I've not seen them in stores here yet and I can't find them for a decent price online. What is the retail price on these, and would anyone be willing to buy some on my behalf if you can get hold of them for a good price please? I'm not too rich at the moment so I'd like to spend around £5 each for them, not including postage :) Many thanks in advance

Pony Corral / Re: G4 Easter Eggs!

Look at all that stupid packaging for one tiny, cheap egg. Ridiculous.
I don't think the egg is really as small as the tinycut-out window in the cardboard... I think it's as big as the box and the window is only showing a small part of it, judging by the mould line anyway.

I want seaponies, personally, but I remember someone saying there was research that today's kids don't like mermaid things...?

I think Monster High and all that is going to change things, and make the market more open to other mythical creatures. Like centaurs, seaponies/merponies, etc.

Oh, I definitely would like Sea Ponies more than Breezies, though I like both.

And come to think of it, I have seen quite the uptick in dolls of mythical creatures, and it really makes me wish I had the time and space to get some of them. Centaur toys, if they were well made and elegant enough, would really be cool!

Its the age of the target market though. MH have a completely different target market than MLP. So while vampires and dark sea creatures may appeal to that pre teen market, the same is not always true of little girls potentially 6 to 10 years younger.

You are right. I guess I was referring to toys in general, not necessarily MLP-related though, when I mentioned centaur toys and such. :P I... can't imagine MLP centaurs. O_o

I get you :) The while vampires and werewolves and gothic is so hot right now. Makes me wish MLP could appeal to an older demographic - imagine the creations we could perhaps get [probably the main 6 with vampire teeth :P].

Lalaloopsy did a Halloween line, their "thing" (and actually, a trend in most current dolls) is to produce a lot of lines featuring the same characters but in different themed outfits. For examples of grands that do this I've got Lalaloopsy,  La Dee Dah, Novis, Bratzillas, Ever After High and Monster High (less so). These are all above the price range of regular ponies (I wish they weren't so cheap) but about the same as EQGs. I wish Hasbro would follow this trend, as they are putting out the same characters repeatedly, just not with enough changed about them. I wish we could see a line of ponies or dolls in Halloween costumes, or other outfits with strong themes, like garden party or Manehatten fashion. Hasbro is too slow and too repetitive with the pony line, imho.

Pony Corral / Re: UK pony con
« on: January 26, 2014, 07:05:27 PM »
I'm really looking forward to going as I've never been before due to money issues. I have a couple of questions though.
Can anyone who's had a table before tell how much it costs, or the average amount it costs please?
And do lots of people stay in hotel rooms during the con, and does anyone share hotel rooms to split the cost?
