Wanted! / Re: looking for so soft ribbon and mail order star hopper :)
« on: September 05, 2013, 10:19:44 AM »
I have a MO Star Hopper I might sell you. She's quite lovely, but has no tinsel in her tail. I don't know if this means she was re-haired, or is a factory flaw, or what. If you'd like photos, please let me know. Thanks!

Off Topic / Re: What is your favorite side dish at a BBQ?

I love all kinds of pasta salads! I will try them all! And corn on the cob is the top of my list, if it's cooked right and has good flavor.

Pony Corral / Re: To the doll collecters- instead of Equestria Girls

I only started to get into the Moondreamers when the line was dying out. I really enjoyed the dolls and their glowing hair. (In fact they were the only non-MLP type doll that I really played with.) I agree that there are some very creative ways for them to be revamped for a more modern look. Would be cool.

I have all of these but Raspberry Jam. That one is eluding me. I vote for Boysenberry Pie, as purple is my favorite and a friend had her in my childhood and I was OBSESSED with finding her at a thrift store. I never did and had to wait until my adult collecting days to finally add her to my collection.

Pony Brag Arena / MLP G1 Stink 'n Lift
« on: August 27, 2013, 08:29:28 PM »
Now, when reading that title, you may be thinking "A My Little Pony what? Stink? Did I read that right?" That is exactly what I thought when I saw the title on a shopgoodwill auction a few weeks ago. When I clicked on the images, it all began to make sense. Someone's typing fingers were moving too fast, or they thought it was funny.

Either way, this lovely item has joined my collection now. I used to love these types of stickers when I was a kid, so was excited to see a different pony one.

The box is pretty crushed, but that's okay.

The pony stickers included: (I'm not convinced the smaller Sea Shell pony belongs in this set...)

All the other stickers (more than 50) in a baggie for safe-keeping. (There's a Twinkles the Cat in there!)

The stink 'n lift that I got from a garage sale as a kid:

After looking at that cover, don't you agree the smaller Sea Shell belongs in this one? She's on the cover! And she's the right size...

Pony Brag Arena / My Niece's Bday Ponies!
« on: August 26, 2013, 12:53:32 PM »
My only niece just turned 8 last week. She loves ponies and has been saving up all her allowance money to buy a Talking Princess Celestia. She just doesn't have quite enough to afford both the pony and the shipping cost. I offered to help her grandpa (my dad) find as many ponies for her as the budget he set would allow. Through the help of sellers here and at the TP, I was able to get her several loose brushables (which my sister didn't get a picture of yet) and Princess Celestia. Thought I would share a few photos of her reaction to the gift.

She was about to have a Laura Ingalls themed birthday party, hence the covered wagon and the corn-husk doll.

You guys are all so awesome!  Thanks for all the help! I never would have guessed at Polly Pockets for those little critters. The little pink thing in front of the animals appears to be some kind of clothing, is that Polly Pockets too? And the Pinkie Pie play mat is so cool!

Price Check Archives / Re: PC needed on Mimic and TAF Baby Sugarberry
« on: August 19, 2013, 09:43:07 PM »
I sold a Mimic who had some rust/mold issues a few months ago for $40. She didn't have any marker or hair cuts though.

The Baby Sugarberry I just sold last week was in near mint condition, with no flaws. She sold for $80.

Hope this helps.

Ended up with these from a thrift store bag of ponies. What are they?!

Never seen this kind of prize pony before. Know where it came from? She is slightly rubbery...

And I don't know what any of these are... Is the horse a mini Breyer? The little critters (except the bunny) have sparkles in their eyes and some have magnets on the back feet. So cute!
