Finally a place where I can talk about my newest obsession! I'm super new to forums in general but I'm happy to be here, I just recently started collecting G1 ponies after falling down a rabbit hole while curiously looking up old toys from my childhood and from there I was hooked! :)
I'm in my mid twenties (he/him) and I love collecting toys and repairing them, I love all sorts of things like sewing, vintage restoration, drawing, baking, speculative biology, paleontology, etc. I'm a little awkward and really nervous so please excuse me if I word anything weirdly! :heart: :fox:

You don't sound awkward at all :) and a lot of us are a little strange, so don't be worried :P You have a great set of hobbies! I share some of the same interests. I had to look up speculative biology but it looks pretty neat :) I have a thing for convergent evolution.

The nostalgia of looking up things from your childhood is so real! Looking up ponies was what got me collecting and digging out my ponies from the back of the wardrobe.

it is! I love the feeling of looking at old childhood things and getting a new appreciation for them, some things you just never grow out of XD

whew thank goodness! sometimes it can take a lot of effort not to sound like a nervous robot but I'm glad I nailed the landing at least somewhat lol :thanks:
also thank you for the compliment, convergent evolution is so fascinating I adore looking at both old and modern adaptations that converge and what it says about the environmental pressures and restrictions that push plants and animals to evolve adaptations that help them survive in their own specific niche! ^-^
