PC Applejack cushion

Hi everypony!

This is a cushion I've just finished today! It's going to be a Christmas gift for my brother.
 It's made out of natural materials. Her mane and body are both cotton velvet, her hat is cotton jersey, and her eye and cutie mark are made out of felt.
 
Someone commented that I should consider doing commissions. I would be happy to do them, but I have no idea of how much to charge.
  Can any of you tell me, looking at this for an example, how much people would be willing to pay? And, more importantly, would there be any interest in pony cushion covers?  It would have to have a pretty high price tag to make it worth my while (I like get everything just right, so it takes a long time to complete things to my standards )

Thank you, I did try to get the colours looking good together. You have no idea how much time I put into getting everything just right

 Yeah, I was thinking about taking commissions, but I have no idea of price. It took me FOREVER to complete this, so it would have to be pretty high. Do you have any idea of how much people would want to pay?

Oh how fun looking cushion!

I'm not sure how much I would pay for it. As buyers opinion the cheaper the better ;D. But seriously speaking how much it costs to make one of those? The price should cover your expenses and then cover your work hours that you have put into it. That is how you can estimate how much you will be asking for.

It's easy to price your work.  It's not easy to convince people what they need to pay.   
Definitely cover your expenses first, and then determine what you would like to be paid, then make your decision based on that.  How many hours did it take you?  As you say, you are very detail oriented and picky when making these, so the price has to reflect that you have spent time poring over each stitch to make sure it's just perfect.  Otherwise you are de-valuing your work!
