The NATG II day 24 theme was: "Draw a pony with a secret/Draw a pony master thief". So I drew Lupin III ponified.

Oh my goodness, I totally thought that second pony was Spock before I read your comments!

Spock doesn't wear leisure suits. Or have sideburns like that. Though he does have a similar haircut otherwise. Do you get the reference with the sword Daring found?

No, he doesn't, does he?  It looked like a Starfleet Science Officer uniform to me at first glance.  And the eyebrows!  Then I noticed the tie and sideburns, then the description.  I had Star Trek on my mind.

I am not sure I get the sword reference for Daring.  I can think of plenty of famous swords, but I'm not placing the reference right now.

It's a reference to something from the G1 epsiode "The Prince and the Ponies", actually. Here's a further clue: I imagine the "Baby [insert adult's name here]" baby ponies being known as "[insert adult's name here] II" or "[insert adult's name here] Jr" when they get older.
