Please allow me to introduce myself  :biggrin: I'm Nat, a guy from Poland made in the late 80's, and I'm a very amateur collector -- starting from when I was a young kid (yes, a boy who played with ponies :lookround:), then again when I was an older kid (too old to play with ponies, some would say; I hung around a couple of the old forums back then), and I'm picking it up again now, when I earn my own money  ;)

I say collector, I'd say I'm more of a ... hoarder with a plan? :lol: I have a somewhat-beat-up Sunribbon from my childhood still, plus two ponies which were in such poor they're waiting for a new life as customs, and I generally don't mind ponies being a little bit roughed up. I guess I prefer having a bunch of slightly yellowed ponies with haircuts than one pristine one ;) plus, things in perfect condition are too stressful, I always worry about them deteriorating!

My favorite thing is to gather different versions of the same character, especially through time (e.g., Rainbow Dash in G3, G3.5, G4, plus Sunribbon, which, I think, is the closest visual ancestor from G1). So, I collect *all* generations and have a little bit of everything, G1, G2, G3, G3.5, G4, and one or two G4.5. Well, I say a little bit. My wife would say they're taking over my office. She would probably be right.
