Lessons learned:
  • Don't let your husband name your ponies
  • Dollar store curlers are terrible
  • Sulky embroidery thread (hair tinsel used here) melts!
  • Sometimes less hair/less curl is better.  Curling can lead to frizzies.
  • I am the master of blurry photos.  Notes to self: Get new camera.  Make a light box for improved photos!

I appreciate genuine feedback and constructive criticism, so please lay it on me!

Ohhh... they're all lovely with their "tinsel" hair!  Thanks so much for sharing! I love the sparkle ponies, too.  And you did a great job on all of them.  The last one is my fave, with the koi fish.  How pretty!  And I'm partial to the big waves they have, rather than tight curls. :)

silver lining and ember festival are gorgous

Oh wow, look at all that luscious hair! I want to go swimming in it. :silly:

Mint Lotus and Rockette are my favourites but, honestly, they are all stunning! Lovely colour combos and the paintwork on the symbols is fantastic, so crisp you would think those are their original symbols.
