My g4 fix....

So, I am dying here with no new brushable releases. So I have a bunch of baits I am turning into other characters I LOVE. Here are the first ones:
Twilight Sky (who I decided I wanted done 'Crystal Kingdom Style' and as a unicorn). I used a RD blend of black and tinsel hair and a glitter paint over black on a Shining Armor bait.

The die-hard romantic in me decided he and Luna should be together

Next I rehaired one of the Twinkleshines I got during the Halloween swaps (she's one of my FAVORITE characters). I decided since she loves Hollywood that it would only be fitting to rehair and resymbol her in sparkling silvers (DH Moonlight). I call her 'Tinseltown Twinkleshine'.

I also decided that she is Twilight Sky's little sister and that they are both Twilight Sparkle's cousins (ahhh, the fun life of the insomniac)

Last but not least I fell in love with her during the Wonderbolt Academy episode and realized that I could easily turn a Fluttershy (goodness knows we have plenty of the mane 6  ) into her. I used DH Marmalade and Passionfruit. I unfortunately reversed them in her mane, but I can live with it. Spitfire:

wow!! I love twilight sky! he's my favorite BB boy! I love how you did him up, he looks great! Spitefire's hair is amazing too. and tinseltown is just precious. gahhh I'm overloading from awesome!

Wow! Hasbro needs to make Twilight Sky into a bushable . Yours looks awesome with that blend and his shiny coat! And I just love how you made Spitfire.

Your work is wonderful! Love them to pieces...but Spit Fire took my breath! Please, tell us how you did such amazing hairstyling!!! You should do a tutorial about that!!! hehe

There's not much to tutor on for Spitfire's hair, but you are welcome to the info
I did 3 rows of plugs, the middle row was the lighter orange and the 2 outer ones were the darker (it should have been vice verse for show accurate). I also extended the hairline onto the forehead and did 5 rows of plugs, blending into the 3-plug hairline. Then when the glue dried and I had her all together I slid the tip of my scissors between the rows and cut one row at a time, leaving the center row longer. I looked at the pix of her from the show to see what parts of her hair were what length (I did make it longer than show-accurate, but the shorter pony hair is, the harder it is to get it to behave). Then when it was cut (it can be pretty sloppy) I used my secret weapon, Got 2 Be Glued hair gel. It's used for guys when they want 13" mohawk hair (sold in most stores). That stuff is awesome, and an absolute necessity for the styling of all my boy ponies' hair. Just play with it, and if you hate it, wash it out, let it dry and start over
