She is beautiful! How did you paint her like that?

Saja - one thing I learned with the first black custom I did is that some colors do NOT show up well against black.  Red is horrible about it--four or five coats and you'll still get black bleeding through.  White, on the other hand, shows up really well against black.  And if you paint other colors on top of the white, they stand out. 

So I actually painted all the designs in white first, then carefully painted over them, slowly working outward and blending each new color into the previous.  This meant I only had to do two (three in for some colors) coats of paint to get the colors showing up really well. =3 

Otherwise, it was just painted really carefully by hand, and when I was done, I went back and touched up the edges with black paint to make the lines more delicate and pretty.  ^_^

Oh my gosh.  This pony is to die for!  Rainbow on black is the best thing ever, and I'm in awe of the detail painting.
