Attn: Regarding recently banned members.

Hi Everyone,
I hate to have to post this publically, but after a series of events I have been forced to do so.
Recently, the Arena banned the members Mana-Maiden and Lucky4leafclover.

OMG! Why?!

Essentially a dramatic interlude occured away from the Arena, which exploded into the Arena's customs community.
After a series of PM's Lucky4leafclover requested for her own benefit to have her membership revoked.
We agreed.
This affected many members of our moderator team, and our community, to the point where some became ill and were receiving phone calls at home.

But why Mana?!
After we had finaly put this dramatic series of events to bed, and everything had calmed down, Mana decided to bring this up again.
She did so in an off site post which also involved a personal tragedy, and we initially decided to ignore this post, due to the circumstances.
However, Mana decided that we were holding a conspiracy (I hate that word!) and posted publicly that she was going to get mods 'fired' and was contacting Facebook for infomation so she could get these people 'fired'.
I and other Admin attempted to contact Mana regarding this, and I did not personally get a reply.

Unfortunately, this was the final straw regarding the Arena's relationship with Mana.
Mana created additional work for us by complaining about people stalking and harrassing her, within and without the Arena.
99% of the time this was simply not the case. She was unpleasant to people she decided were 'against' her, and more often than not we had a team of Mods having to calm down threads she created dramatics in, or was just nasty in.
People complained about her attitude, her cruelty and her professionalism, and I made the decision that enough was enough.
We are all unpaid volunteers, and when we are having to dedicate precious time to one member instead of benefitting the entire community it just is not fair.

But what does this mean for me?!
Whenever we have to make a harsh decision like this I get deluged by members asking if they are going to get banned too.
Banning a long time member is a very hard decision, and one not made easily by our team.
We don't ban willy-nilly and without cause.

I've been told the truth by Mana & Lucky! You guys are giant ugly meanies!
There are always two sides to every story. This is ours.
We could of course back it up by the hundreds of threads and comments in the mods forum about this, with chat transcripts, emails and PMs, but honestly, its too much hard work for everyone.

Also, my love goes out to all the Mods who have been dealing with this situation. Its just not a nice thing for anyone to deal with

This whole ordeal has been a nightmare.  Thanks to all the mods that were able to find a solution to end it.  And thank you for protecting us  from excess drama.  It is always sad when disagreements have to come to this.

I had no idea this was going on. Never seen the drama topics. But I am glad things were solved! I hope everyone is ok now. Thus comunitie is supposed to be a safe and fun place. Thank you to the mods who are keeping it that way

Wow I'm shocked. I never spoke to those girls personally, but its nice to know you guys have kept everything hidden because I personally havent seen any of the bad drama filled topics.
 
I know its a hard decision but something is going on with those two and its best for the group theyve been shown out.

The reason most people never saw anything was because the incidents took place off of the arena and were in no way affiliated with the arena. The members in question decided to bring it to the attention of the arena mods, creating a lot of work and hassel for our wonderful staff even though it was not an arena matter.
