I think I have a Doom Field...

There were blank IMG tags with blank URL links in the code, ready to have stuff pasted into them from photobucket as I assigned photos to each pony. I assumed that dead links / empty tags would not try to load at all, is that the case?

Thank you for deleting them at any rate, I'll do a text-based post with an album link for now!

The UK is running a "2 for £26" promotion which appears to include everything (aside the super duper Pikachu bundle I believe (they listed most things under the banner but I guess you'll have to add the to the cart to be sure). I got Grumpy Bear and Elliot :D And I just got my SFS rewards voucher too  In total, I saved £17 (£12 on the promotion, £5 off with the voucher) so nearly got on free

When I placed my order yesterday they had Celestia, Twilight, Luna, Muffins, Rainbow Dash, and AppleJack. My experience is that they normally also run this in stores but YMMV on what your local carries (and Grumpy and Muffins are online exclusives).

*DUST CLOUD TOWARDS B-A-B* --- Who needs cupboard space when you can fill it all with Ponies?! :D

I don't remember the origin of Smelly Treats and unless the dog dug her up she is still out there.

BRB, gonna ask Aadra if she remembers where we buried her...

I really want to know how this turns out... I wonder if she'd be non-smelly now!

As a though, does filling a pony with dry rice work to remove their smell, or dry-something-not-food-based so you could keep them displayed?

I don't think I've had any ponies that have been particularly horrific. I wonder if that's due to European building methods and layouts where we have loft/attic storage more than basement/below-water-line storage?

Hi Hath!

I've been around for years, no username changes at all - the gender icon changed, but hey that's kind of moot. Here's what I've got so far:

Thread 1:
G1-G4 Ponies, Accessories and more - Collection Downsize 22/07 (UK)
http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,375961.0.html

Thread 2:
Dusky's sales G1-G4 Ponies and Accessories (Available - Photo upload is WIP)
http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380909.0.html

Both return HTTP 500 error messages and cannot load, can you delete them from the overall forum page or do you have to go into them to alter their status? Both are on page 3 of the For Sale - for Auction forum when you sort by Started By.

Neither are older than 3 months, it looks like thread 3 (also broken) has been removed/locked/exploded as per needed. I can link you to the GDOC of the BB code I was using to build this via personal message if that'd help.

Ha! XD Well that's good at least - I have to hope it doesn't disappoint if it ever works! Haven't heard back from the mods yet for this..

Hello mods,

All three of my sales threads are completely broken/will not load due to some arcane coding weirdness. This means I can't even get in to edit them and delete them myself! Please could you lock & sink them, or delete them completely if possible? I don't want to post another thread when I have this trail of zombies coming up on the search. Any thread currently by me in the Sales area can be popped.

Because of the code problems would it be alright to leave a list of what I am selling in text format, and link to a Google Doc with the information and pictures? I can't get anything to work properly for me!

Huh, Sapphire always popped up as the cheapest for me! O.o that's news!  I'd agree with the above: a rough $55-$60 per pony of that set is right.

Nothing in the Oxford central area when I was looking - they are low on stock so I assume they're all waiting for the next toy wave to arrive; none of the previous water cuties or ribbon-hair types were restocked.

You're Oxford-area as well? That's reassuring, I was getting worried I had missed them all :< Boswells is normally the first place to get new ponies but their pony section is a tiny fraction of what it once used to be D: They did have a whole shelf of the ribbon ponies a while ago but....still no Starlight  I'm going to Milton Keynes soon so I'll have to have a rummage there.

Boswells is the only central place that has Ponies - Debenhams sort of does but it's a bizarre range! Other than that the TRU and various places out in Templar's Square (so grim, so very grim) are the best bet. I didn't see any of the ribbon range that weren't normal Main Six in Boswells. :/

MLP Nirvana / Re: The saddest Nirvana ever.. could she even be fixed?
« on: April 25, 2016, 11:46:14 AM »
What *is* her value? If she was at about £20 I'd take her on as a project!

I imagine you'd get some traction by using two-part silicone clay on her insides, and by meshing the broken vinyl edges with another type of glue, then gently sand any glue line down? The rest is sunfade/conditioner and hope.

Has anyone seen her OR Starlight in mainland UK shops? The Entertainer said they had her, but she wasn't available for pickup in a 50 mile radius (and I'm not spending £5 on postage for a £5 pony). All the stores just have loads of wave one, or in TRU's case, the first wave of Rainbow Power (where they found those I don't know....) I was hopeful that having two waves with Starlight in would help but...nada

Pony Corral / Re: To Laminate or Not To Laminate...
« on: April 25, 2016, 11:08:37 AM »
How large is it? It may be worth getting a rigid holder such as those used for autgraphed photos? That way if can be inserted (carefully) and displayed with the option to remove it if ever needed. It's less bulky than a full frame and it has less chance of sliding or slipping.

Laminating is pretty final and I don't trust plastic not to yellow-out long term.
