Cherry, why are you so adorable?!  :lovey:

M!ndy finished my wigs and they're on their way to me!  Yay!  I am so excited to put Talitha in a cute wig and take new pics of her.  And Rowan won't be bald anymore!  She even made a little tail cover to put over her tiny tail so it will match her hair.  I can't wait to see if it works and take new pics!  :squee:

OMG I am just killing it with these pre orders! I snagged a Blythe Curly Blue Babe pre order for $229- which is more than her retail but less than the other pre order sales at $380!! I'm also in the lottery for her but as there are way over 5000 entries and counting and only 75 dolls I have little hope of winning. I'm assured now that she will come home :) Yay!

I noticed that Sideshow toys was having both a sale and a free shipping event for some in stock items, so after thinking about for a couple of years, I just ordered a Hot Toys Wolverine.

Soom Keny is paid!  :squee:  I can't wait to meet him!  :D

My PKF body shipped in August.  I paid for sea mail to save money, since I was going to be waiting for the faceplate anyway.  Anyone know how long sea mail from Australia to the US usually takes?  I was prepared to wait for a long time, but I'm a little nervous having her out in a box for that long.

Then it's just the MNF body and PKF Juri '14 faceplate I'm expecting from DDE in probably a month or so.  Once they're all home, I'll be at 13 dolls.  :faint:

Congrats ZennaBug! Keny is such a cute sculpt! I've bought stuff from Australia before & it's taken as much a 3 weeks to arrive. I'm sure your doll will be fine, but just in case did you buy insurance? It's always good to spend the few extra bucks on insurance when you're laying out hundreds of dollars on a doll. It's saved me a couple of times when items arrived damaged.

Yeah, I always buy insurance. Especially since I was paying for the slowest shipping method. She was shipped on August 1st though. So she's going on 11 weeks. Ah! And the seller sent me pics of the box and receipt at the post office, so I know she was shipped on time. Trying to be patient, since I knew it would be slow. But ugh it's hard to wait.

I believe sea mail can take up to 3 months, so hopefully you'll see your package soon.

Wow, 3 months!  I'd have imagined a few weeks - maybe one month at the most!

My goodness! I had no idea it could take so long! I've never waited more than a month or so; maybe I've just been lucky.
I did have a Blythe doll stuck in an international mail sorting center for almost 3 months. My mail lady got me the direct phone number to the center (I'd tried going through the usps website & 800 number w/ no luck). She told me to call them and, "go all crazy doll lady on them." My girl arrived 2 days after my call, lol!

I'm not too worried yet, as I expected a wait. But their site says up to 12 weeks and I'm on week 11, so I'm getting a little antsy. If I hit the 12 week mark and don't have a box, I will start making calls to see if I can get a hold of customs. It's probably stuck.

*ETA: Keny has been shipped! I can't wait to meet him!!

*EDIT #2:  Holy crapballs.  DDE just sent me an invoice to let me know that my MNF body is in!  I  wasn't expecting her so soon and my dolly envelope only has $120 in it because I spent the other $280 of it on a doll off the shelf the last time I was in their store lol.  Gonna call them tomorrow and say I'll come in with the rest of the payment at the end of the month when I get paid because I spent all the money I'd saved on a different doll in their store lol.  So by the end of the month, my Juri will have her body!  And I'll have my little PKF faceplate.  And hopefully her body.  And maybe even Keny if the shipping gods are kind.  :P
