Jan's all-purpose art thread!

My activity on DA is sporadic at best so I thought I would give my art a bit more exposure by having a little thread here. I hope you guys enjoy my stuff!

I'll post some of my mermaid ponies here today...Larger versions will be uploaded to my DeviantArt later, so please have a look if you like them!


Seaflower (her name is taken from the G1 pony and her design is somewhat based off of her.)

Arctic mermaid pony sketch - I thought it would be fun to design different varieties of merponies that live in different habitats of the pony world. Arctic merponies are fat with blubber and have thick fur on their hooves for insulation. :P I'll finish this in a few days!

Lady Rose - Somehow she cultivates beautiful roses under the surface..Unicorn magic!

Galaxy - One of my favorite G1 ponies. This was just a sketch and I will probably trace over it and color it better and give it a proper background when I actually have some sleep under my belt. When in doubt, overdo sparkles to make up for lack of effort! x.x
