New here, very excited to make some new pony friends I live in Brooklyn NY, work in arts education/administration, and I also am part of the Ponycon team- http://www.ponycon2015.com/

The important people in my life are my partner Dave (After 10 years, we're getting married this summer!), my awesome friends (ponies, geeks, creatives, and hipsters), my sister & my parents (who know how much I enjoyed MLP when I was a little girl), and my bunny Rupert.

I'm just starting to collect now, I was able to recover just one of my childhood ponies from my parents' house, Scoops. I cleaned her up, styled her mane, and got her signed by Bonnie Zacherle at Ponycon 2014. I'm open to collecting any generation, but am partial to: nurse ponies, rainbow ponies, MLP Lil' Litters bunny rabbits, snowflakes, the fabulous Rarity, and the Wonderbolts.

It was certainly the eyes that did me in. For the last year that I was involved in the fandom, I never fancied myself a collector (tiny NYC apartments and such)...but I started to really appreciate the details, the expressiveness, the openness and warmth, long lovely lashes...it is impossible to look at a pony and not feel a little happier! And who DOESN'T want a little extra happiness in their life? <3
