Does anyone remember which ponies were available in the Build-a-Pony stores? I can't find many pictures of the ponies available, and I don't remember myself! I think probably Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, but I don't know for sure.
I also found a picture on a forum that implies that Spring Parade and Cinnamon Breezes were available through it...does anyone know for sure? Any memories?

Tubes of horses and horse accessories.
I remember them...twice? From visits back when I was in elementary school but of course I wasn't into ponies yet.
The one picture does also confirm Cinnamon Breezes and..Minty? Piccolo? I do see Spring Parade in there too...

That is adorable! never seen anything like it

Those pictures are amazing
If only it was still around, wished I could have visited :lovey:
Slightly off-topic I really miss seeing G3 in stores, heck even seeing G4! The pony section of the toy aisles where I live is getting super small :<

I bought these when I was working there. There were four ponies there that I remember picking up with my sets of princess outfits. They were Cinnamon Breeze, Piccolo, Spring Parade, and Golden Delicious. I remember that these ponies were ever so slightly smaller than regular release G3s. Probably not even noticeable until you tried to put on the clothes. Mostly the shoes didn't fit right on the other G3 ponies and sometimes you couldn't even get them on, even with the same poses.
According to Strawberry Reef, the Build-A-Pony was closed in October 2010.
The outfits you could get included Minnie, Tinkerbell, Snow White, Ariel, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Cinderella, Belle and Jasmine as well as a princess rain poncho, blanket, and "tourist" accessories such as Mickey ears, Mickey glasses, a camera and even a Tea Cup "ride" they could sit in. They also had a bed, mirrors, and each outfit had other accessories such as a "magic" lamp, a teacup with a chip missing out of it and a teapot, necklaces, crowns, sand castles, and picnic baskets.

Aha! Piccolo! I haven't seen Goldie in any of the pictures, that's an interesting bunch!
I think I did notice that with the shoes. I have a bag of various accessories from it and I've misplaced them at the moment but I do remember difficulty in putting them on...would be cool to find a way to discern the releases!

I think they may have released already boxed/dressed ponies in Disney outfits and I think Pinkie Pie and Kimono were in that set but I never got any of those so I'm not sure which others may have been released that way.

they were Pinkie Pie, Kimono, Minty and Sparkleworks. But I don't know if they came with the shoes. The pictures on the site don't show them with shoes.

Yes the boxed ones came first, then they opened the bins.
ahhhhhhh I never made it to that store when they had it ... ohhhh i would have spent so much money.... LOL

The dressed versions wore a cloak and princess hat with the character name. They did not come with shoes. There were shoes available as part of the outfits you could buy as Pokeyonekenobie listed above.
What annoyed me at the time was that the Build-a-Pony outfits were only sold at WDW. I really had hoped they would put one in Downtown Disney at Disneyland but no. So had to buy the outfits via Ebay.
