I believe my cat saved my life a couple weeks ago. She woke me up when I was struggling to breathe.

But since then she's been waking me up every two hours. It's frustrating but I can't get mad at her. I'm supposed to have a CPAP but I need a sleep study and who wants to do that with covid running around.

Black Curtains would you be able to do an at home sleep study?  That's what I did a few years ago to see if I needed a CPAP machine.

I woke up extra early today even though I didn't have too.

Maybe. I keep forgetting to call the clinic. I'll look into it in January.

My complaint for today is I think I have a new spot of eczema. At first I thought it was an insect bite but instead of going away, it spread a bit and is really itchy and red. It's been a few weeks so if it was a reaction to the bite it would have stopped by now. I cut some aloe from my plant outside and put it on it for now.

My step-dad just learned of MLP and is terrified of/hates it and thinks it's to brainwash children.

I went to send my husband a text asking him if he wanted me to exchange a pack of underwear he had accidentally bought the wrong kind of for the boxer briefs he wanted, since I have some time to kill while my son is in therapy, but I accidentally sent the text to my dad instead, because he was the last one in my text queue. I'm totally mortified. Like I hit send, realized what I did, and saw the little wheel spinning because it was sending, I'm silently screaming NOOOOO!!! and trying to search for some way to cancel it before it went through. Oh well. Hope he has a sense of humor about it...

My brain feels like it’s going to explode if it has to deal with one more instance of human stupidity today. I won’t go into details, as it would take too long and just leave me more deeply entrenched in feelings of hurt and depression. I’ll just say that I’m exhausted by this world and the many people whose mission is to make it a miserable, paranoid, conspiracy-theory-ridden place.

My step-dad just learned of MLP and is terrified of/hates it and thinks it's to brainwash children.

Speaking of which... This is maybe the strangest conpiracy theory I’ve ever heard. Why does your stepdad think that??? Sorry you have to deal with such nonsense. :(

I touched something made of latex even though I tried really hard not to and now my eczema is breaking out on my hands (always on my hands) It's painful.   I do have some medicine I can put on but I need to do it when I'm not going to be handling anything for a while.

Bought new camera. Needed SD card. Bought SD card. Fitted SD card to camera. Tried taking pics. Camera has no flash. Oh well, back to the phone because going outside in this circumstance is a big NOPE :(
My Mascots (so far): Twisty Tail, G2 Trixiebelle, Starcatcher, Twilight Sparkle. All variants & pictures of these are appreciated. Piccies courtesy of Griffin, Blumiere, Littlebabyribbon, & Starscout

I am on medication that makes it so my period only comes every 3 months (I was considered anemic when it came once a month because my flow is very, very heavy). I am not due for it to come for another month.
Guess what decided to show up and made a mess while I slept? Merry Christmas to me I guess
Worst part is that I can’t figure out why it happened. I have not skipped any of my medicine, and my health has remained consistently normal. So hurrah for Christmas surprises!

One of my dogs had an accident in the living room overnight. I put her out before we went to bed but sometimes she doesn't like to go on the grass. i think she just pretended to go. She's so sweet and cute i can't even stay angry at her. She knows it too. I try to withhold dog treats when she messes in the house but we always give in. who can stay mad at this face?

I went to bed at a more normal time last night trying to get my sleep pattern a bit more balanced for tomorrow, since we're skyping with sister and stuff at certain times.

And so I slept for maybe 2 hours. On the positive, I did get through a lot of chapters of a Japanese audiobook....so there's that.
