There's a new vaccine on the horizon maybe for COVID. Which is truly awesome.

But my mother can't have it, because it can't be used on people with immune system problems. This is true of all vaccines that use a live/part of the actual virus as the immune system cannot necessarily cope with this. Mum is not allowed vaccines for certain other things as well, like malaria, for this reason.

We're all hoping one of the others comes through soon. But it's upsetting for her and for us that there's all this hope floating around and it doesn't include her.

We're also not sure whether if Dad were to get it, whether he could somehow transmit virus to Mum (being that it uses live parts of the virus). So yeah. Happy but...yeah. The wait goes on.

This tropical storm won't go away. I'm glad it's not a hurricane anymore, of course. I need to go across the street to the office but it's windy and raining and the rain is COLD.

I keep seeing these gorgeous stickers of winter foliage which would be perfect for the outer walls of my Festive Cottage... but they have to come HALF WAY ROUND THE WORLD to reach me!!! Why can't more local people sell winter foliage stickers???

I found internal mould in a G4 today, it is my first time finding that in a G4 body (the head was ok, no mould) the washer was rusted as well.

I’ve been waiting on a training video to be released on a website.  I need to watch the video for my profession but it’s been delayed  3 times.  I understand that a lot of stuff is delayed right now but the website doesn’t update the release date on the video until the date on the website passes.

I was trying to research nerve damage after a bullet wound for my nanowrimo project and the site I found had pictures.  I don't do blood and guts, hence why I'm not a doctor.

My A/C keeps setting itself on 73. That's a little chilly when I'm just sitting on the PC or sleeping or whatever, so I usually turn it up (down?) to 75. I kept setting it at 75 and when it turned on it would set itself to 73. I'd open the windows but it's unseasonably humid right now, too sticky. Monday there's a cold front coming with dryer air so I can open the windows then.

I have to stop using Bath and Bodyworks hand products because they can't guarantee no trace gluten and the hand sanitizers use a wheat amino acid. Boo. I have no clue where to find good hand creams now or if I can get fun smelling ones that actually state their gluten free...dom.

The weather where I am is really nice right now (it actually gets cold at night!) so I've had my windows open. I live in an apartment complex that's like a small village, we have our own police and everything. Anyway, there are designated play areas and parks for kids and dogs but most of the kids around my place just play out in the street or parking lot. Now... I'm not fond of children on a good day, but seriously what is with the SHREIKING? There were two girls playing tag in the parking lot outside my bedroom windows and they were literally screaming. Like someone was murdering them kind of screaming. Then later, some older boys were playing with a basketball and they too, were yelling and being unnecessarily loud. THEN, as if to answer my question, the mom of the boys started screaming too! She was calling their names and to "get inside". Like??? Is that why they think it's okay?

Everything ended up giving me a headache.

One part of my  restaurant meal wasn’t cooked all the way through. Once I realized it wasn’t fully cooked I didn’t eat that part of it but ate the rest of the meal since it was fine.  My dad insisted on taking the undercooked part of the meal home saying “it will be fine after we microwave it.”

My pen has run out and I don't have any refills for it, so I won't be able to take down any notes by hand until my next trip out to Sainsbury's, which won't be until the middle of next week. Having looked online for refills, it would actually be cheaper for me to just buy another pen altogether, which is absurd.

I had to go type in google.com to get that to show up because I was curious. But it totally does look like a bug on the screen!
