I wanted to color today but my gel pens are so old that the ink has dried up/separated. Now instead of coloring I have to go through my pens and figure out which ones are still usable.

I've reported six text messages as spam in the last two days.  Seriously, if I don't contact you first, I don't want it.   :enraged:  I am seriously considering an unlisted number because I'm tired of the BS that some inbred gene pool rejects keep sending me.

My bank. :pout: They have renewed the page where you can transfer money, and it's a joke. Huge letters, and there are comments all over the page how this is "All for YOU!" and "It's even EASIER now!", and it makes me sick. What am I, a 5-year-old?

My bank did always have a habit of treating you like you are simple (they don't even say "u" (polite pronoun) anymore, it's all "je" and "jij" (impolite pronoun!!!), even in letters and on the ATM. I guess they are trying to attract younger people, I don't know. But it's a BANK for heaven's sake, I expect some level of decency and respect! But this new page is really taking it too far, they are dumbing everything down like there's no tomorrow. Seriously, if I didn't have my savings account there I would have transferred to another bank years ago already.

I had to throw away over half of my gel pens. I have some new ones that I had bought because I love the colors but it looks like even in some of the new ones the ink has gone bad.

I am trying to make a playlist  on iTunes but since they are songs I had in my computer and transferred to iTunes the playlist doesn’t look like the others I’ve made and makes it more difficult to put the songs in the order I want.

Had a bit on my mind that I wanted to do, like talk to my neighbour and make some art. But my anxiety and depression today has really spiked to the point I just want to sit and not do anything. Do not think, not do, not anything. But on the bright side, my friend got released from hospital after about three months! So there’s that.
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

Packing up my main "junk drawer" I found a few sheets of 90s Lisa Frank stickers but on top of them was one of those squishy Koosh-type toys. The oil or whatever in the toy leaked onto the stickers and they all slide off the sheets :(

We finally got a bit of sunshine, so I set about doing some work at the garden at long last, which is a good thing... but less than five minutes into cutting back a wildly overgrown hedge, there was carnage, bloodshed, the blade on the polesaw got stuck in a branch and I had to use the tiny, faffing little hacksaw to liberate it. After that excessively time-consuming farce, I just decided to settle for clearing some branches in order to tidy up the space between the hedge and the fence, so visiting wildlife can get through there more easily, and call time on it for today. The weather's gone naff now anyway, so I have a sort-of valid excuse. :P

Urgghhh, grubby pony mail, badly packed and in a weird-smelling box. I got Flower Bouquet, and she was grey with muck! I'm fine with adopting ponies that have flaws, and given their age and the fact that they've most likely been played with in the past, clearly most ponies are not going to be in their finest fettle, but she was quite gross. I've cleaned her up now, she needed three baths to get the grime off her body and her mane and tail had to be washed and detangled. She's drying right now, and after all that effort, she finally smells of lavender instead of her initial aura of weird-chemical-stench.
Oh, the joys of evilbay... :/
Still, I'm happy to have finally gotten one of my grail ponies, even if there was some unexpected panic-washing involved in the situation.

It’s 108F where I live right now. :hot:  I was outside for less than 5 minutes and my skin already started turning red from the heat.

Miniature Sheep, I’m sorry your Flower Bouquet was covered with yucky stuff when she arrived.

I'm not sure if this is a rant or what it is really.

A year ago, before I finished my PhD, I submitted an article to a journal.

Today I found out they'd rejected it (not surprising, this journal is really hard to get into)...but that I should have been told that 6 months ago. Oh well. Stuff happens.

It's more that I have a strong feeling I know who one of the reviewers is. It's all anonymous, but let's just say I'm not sure how I feel being reviewed by someone who I don't really think has read most of the stuff I'm talking about.

The medicine I was off of for months is starting to kick back in. I had to restart at a low dose and ease myself back up to where I was. I did .5mg for a week and am halfway through 1mg. I need to get back to 3mg.

Anyway, it's in that awkward brain augmenting stage and I'm feeling rather loopy  Also working with some double vision. I know it'll pass so I'm not concerned. I just wish this would have happened before or after my move.
