With my name, people either seem to be able to spell it right, OR pronounce it right. Nobody seems capable of both
My sister has this problem.
In my case, people can generally do neither ;)

My name is not unusual but it's not common either. Growing up the only other people I knew of with my name were adults.

I got a membership card one time and the name on it was completely different from mine even though I had spelled my name correctly on the membership form. When I complained through email the company fixed it for free since someone entered my name wrong.

My dog has decided that if she is up I should be up too even if it's too early.

People sometimes get my last name wrong they put a e in it, there’s no e in my last name.

We have the opposite. We have an e, and sometimes people miss it out ;)

...People should just pay attention to how people spell their names. It's just so rude how often people don't even bother to look or check. And so often, if someone has managed, by some miracle, to get my first name spelt right...they inevitably misspell the other. It's like they spent so long focusing on that one because it's unusual that they then don't pay attention to the other, which is less so...

My name is a name others use as a nickname, so I always have people trying to call me by my "proper" name (usually to prove some kind of superiority-managers and teachers with control issues) and then they get mad when I don't respond.  My parents didn't like the "proper" name and if they wanted me to be called that, they would have named me that.

Oh, I remember when Floor Jansen (singer in Nightwish) got the boot from Facebook because they didn't think her name was real. Luckily for her, being famous with thousands upon thousands of fans to fight for her, she got reinstated within a couple of days.

My complaint of the day: I got woken up around four times this morning by husband and my cats.. everytime it was harder and harder to get back to sleep until I gave up. I'm gonna be a zombie at work today.

One of my local charity shops has put all their toys in a little tent, and you have to climb into the thing to see them. Well sorry but I'm not going to crawl on my hands and knees into a child-sized tent to look for ponies so I'll probably miss any that come into that shop now

I got a really beautiful Meito teapot and matching milk jug with a simple design - a nice, dark muted brown with pink blossoms - and of course with them coming from Evilbay, they were packed in a single paltry layer of bubble wrap, a faffing amount of newspaper, and a flimsy cardboard box. There wasn't even anything mentioning that they're fragile on the box! So of course, I went to clean the teapot only to find out it's split and it leaks. I can't find any more examples with the same design, either... and now for the rigmarole of returning them. What joy. :pout:

There’s nothing like those special Ebay sellers who suddenly cancel an entire auction because the bid isn’t going as high as they’d like. =P And then they put “item is no longer available” as the rationale. Mmhmm, right... The items just disappeared once you saw that the bid was staying low. :P

There is something flying around in here. I keep seeing it from the corner of my eye but every time I go to look, it disappears :ninja:

OMG. That is one of my major pet peeves! People always trying to game eBay. Grr.

My package has been stuck in (or out of?) Amsterdam for over a week. >_< It says "departed", but where is it now? It came from the US, but it can't be import tax hassles, because it was under €22.

I. Want. My. Package. :stressed:

Maybe its in Moldova. One of mine spent a day there the other week. Still no idea why, except Dhl can't read.

...My trivial complaint is quite simple.

I get that rain is important, but a little sunshine in between would be nice as well...
