I'm sorry. My legs cramp sometimes too and it's really painful.


Today's complaint. I should be sleeping in since it's the weekend but I work up extra early and couldn't go back to sleep.

I woke up early today too. Must be something in the air...

I really don't know what to do with myself this weekend.

So I have my thesis to submit. But I can't do anything about that until I hear from the binder people, and speak to my disability advisor about stuff on Tuesday. So I can't do anything about that. One adviser is meant to have proofread a couple of bits of it a week ago but I still haven't heard from him so I'm not going to get any edits he suggests into the final submission.

I have two units to teach next week. One I already have the prep work from last year and I rewatched the film as well already. The other I've done the reading for and something of a powerpoint, even though the computers never work in that classroom. So that's done too.

Even though there's basically nothing I can do about anything this weekend, I still feel like I should be doing something work related...

Sigh.

There was some extremely questionable people in the city centre today. I had two young teens follow me around the make up section in a store (I wanted some new nail varnish) so I moved to the eye make up section and they followed me there, then the lipstick section- I took my phone out at this point as I had a missed call and they seemed to back away. I then had a woman almost charge into me when I was attempting to exit a busy store, I apologized straight away and she seemed to mumble to her friend something about me being an idiot. I also had a young teenage boy shout something to me as I went into the post office. Seriously, I don't understand people's actions at times, it doesn't help my anxiety much

My lower back cramps something awful so I total understand. That sounds scary StrawberrySundance, am glad they backed off. Really wish I could paint my black bookshelves white instead of the black they are. It's cheap plywood so don't know if I even can but I'd love to. My things look swallowed up by all the black plus it makes my living room look smaller.

I've got this really nice blues solo from a Coheed and Cambria song going round in my head, which is fine because I like that song, but it's making me feel very inadequate about my guitar playing, even though I literally can't be bothered with solos, I just do rhythm and finger-picking.

My lower back cramps something awful so I total understand. That sounds scary StrawberrySundance, am glad they backed off. It's not that hard. I've painted a number of plywood furnitures and other types. Just sandpaper the surface thorougly so the paint has something to stick on and wash it with soapwater before you begin so all dust particles are removed. It might take a number of layers but in the end the result usually comes out fine .



I don't want to go to work today. It's only 3,5 hours today and tomorrow I'm off completley. Still don't want to.

We have these pumps at work, cast iron monstrosities that weigh a flaming tonne (well, 35kgs) and I had to pack one, so I lifted it up as best I could, then lost my grip on it at the last moment and it tore my hand up in three places as it fell - fortunately, it wasn't damaged but that's more than can be said for my hand! It'll be a relief when we've shipped the last of these annoying specimens and I'll never have to deal with them again!

The binders that the doctoral school recommend I go to turn out to have closed down their binding department. Without telling anyone.

I can't navigate so now have to entrust it to somewhere I can't physically go to and do it all online. And hope for the best. Gah.

Meanwhile, I sense that the £ is going to have another spasm tonight...sigh.

Let my 15-yr-old nephew borrow my GameBoy Advance SP to play Pokemon Gold.  When he gave it back to me the hinge was broken.  When I asked what happened, he told me it was like that when I gave it to him.  Um...no it wasn't.  I take care of my things and it really ticks me off when my family breaks my stuff and then tries to act like I'm just too stupid to notice.  I think I'm done letting anyone borrow anything without a $500 deposit.

My heater is actually working too well. It's not anywhere near as cold outside as it is up North (it's like in the upper teens) but it is certainly cool enough I shouldn't be burning up in my room! I switched rooms in the house - the one before was always too cold during the winter and too hot every other time of the year, now in my new room it has been reversed. Or at least it is too hot during the winter. The heater always works better than anything else.

That sounds like an insulation problem to be honest. And not with your room. With the colder rooms.

You should partially close the vent in your room.
