Went to a family gathering at my parents house tonight.  My husband scolds me afterwards outside about how I wasn't watching my child (not attentive enough according to his standards...) than suggests I drive bc he chose to have 5 beers tonight.  I'm so annoyed right now

I bought these spicy chips to eat with homemade taco dip. I like spicy stuff (I made the dip spicy even) but these chips just aren't doing it for me. I wish I'd gotten a bag of regular chips because now I don't have anything to eat with the dip. Unless I just eat it. But then it wouldn't be dip! Hmm. Maybe I'll spread it on a soft tortilla.

The semester starts today and I don't have classes Wednesdays, so it's a nice long day of "am I missing something?"

Basically had someone tell me that my current project is a waste of time and they tried to sugarcoat it by adding "not to belittle your project or anything."  Yeah well...I think almost everything they do is a complete waste of time, especially since they have volunteers do it and it has to be done multiple times to get it done right.

I love my boyfriend, but I'm very annoyed with him. He bought a vest from a foreign country, didn't check the size chart conversion, pushed and pestered me to email these people for an exchange and then when I was getting ready to send it off, since he's working long hours decided out of the blue that he is going to keep it. So now, I hafta email these people again that Mr. Wishy washy has changed his mind and ebay isn't letting me message them. He's a great guy, but from now on if he wants something exchanged, he is going to do it. I keep telling his stubborn butt to not buy clothes online and just get them from a real store.

I had to put one of my cats to sleep and it is painful enough as it is. But as an act of kindness I decided to give away her leftover food to someone who might need it so I posted about it in a local facebookgroup. It's a veterinary diet and I wrote that, also saying I would not say what it is for as the one needing it already should know, I also wrote that it's not something to give to a healthy cat just because it's free. I also asked not to have any unrelated comments concerning my post (a disclaimer that's noted in the rules if one want to keep the thread on topic and not deviate).

Soon, people started to comment on how I should donate it to the local animalshelter instead and got angry at the admin when she started to delete their comments as it was unrelated. Within ten minutes I had over 20 comments stating the same thing and the admin did a terrific job at keeping the thread clean but jeeeesh! People got so aggressive!

I donate money to the shelter whenever I have the funds for it, share their facebookposts, and I know they get food donated from Hills. I wanted to do something nice for someone else as the food is ridiculously expensive and added veterinary costs at that can eat you up.

Then one man asked to have it and I agreed to give it to him and was about to send him a PM with my details when he wrote me first and told me he wanted his cats to have some quality food instead of the cheap stuff he usually buys from the supermarket. When I asked I learnt his cats were not sick and had no need for this particular food. So no.. just greed.

Thankfully two nice ladies asked for it as well and they both got some so the food is gone now, but I still feel sad about the whole thing. I tried to do something nice in memory of my cat and was met with malice and greed instead, it felt awful

@Beldarna - that's just really wrong. I'm sorry about your cat :/

So that moment when you are about to move and are packing stuff in your room and then run out of something you need so you have to buy a whole new pack for FIVE DAYS because the stupid store doesn't sell individuals...

Also I really hate packing. I hate moving. I will be really sad to leave here as I really love this place and the area. BUT I am excited about exploring a new area. I just know I will get very. Very. LOST. Sigh.

Going to get the key tomorrow. Really not looking forward to taking a case on the tube. I don't use the tube unless I have to. It's not my favourite way to travel London...

Urrrgh. I was fast asleep and then in the small hours, the shelf at the foot of the bed decided it was tired of that being-up-on-the-wall nonsense and plunged to the floor with a massive crash, woke me up and scared the living daylights out of me, so I couldn't get back to sleep and have been tired and really nervous at work all day.
