I'm really annoyed that I can't seem to find MLPs anymore at flea markets. And the rare occasion I do, people ask ridiculous prices for ratty common G3s and G4s just because they finally heard the news that ponies can be collectibles. I don't want to haggle for half an hour each time.

I miss when I could find affordable restoration projects. I really love(d) restoring ponies and putting my money into new hair and not into the semi-dead pony itself  :cloud:

My neighbor came over today (1st time this has happened since I moved here, but I knew her already) and asked my friend and I to move our cars. When my friend went out, he said she told him to not park in their yard (but didn't fuss at me when she came to the door). I of course apologized and we moved everything but I just feel like such a jerk ugh!

It was just parked in the street, they were mowing the ditch. I would have parked in my own driveway but my boyfriend had parked his car in front of the gate so he could mow our yard and I couldn't get it in  :( Now I'm thinking about all the times my other friend may have parked on their side instead and I feel awful. I guess they consider the whole ditch to be theirs even though about 1 car width of space is on my side?

You should come to my flea market , I have a few venders who sell ponies a buck each, and blind bags are fifty cents.

People can't seem to follow the simplest instructions. In my voicemail message at work, I give instructions on where to call for various things. For instance, I explicitly say, "If you're calling about animal placement or adoption, please call our shelter (and give the shelter's address and  their phone #). Yet people still routinely leave voicemail messages like today's: "My cat had 4 kittens. I need to get rid of them ASAP. Call me." So I call the shelter to see if the person had called over there as well. Nope, they couldn't be bothered to follow simple directions just like they couldn't be bothered to spay their cat.

I bought a song on iTunes that I already owned and iTunes didn't warn me that I was rebuying the same song.

Its August in the UK, which means that, weatherwise, we only have autumn to look forward to now. Sigh.

Also, I am cross that Mattel stopped selling MH Minis in any store I can get to. Because I really like them, and I don't want to import.

We just mowed the lawn, watered the plants, and it decided to rain.

Yesterday we decided to meet friends for a family day out - to be held at our local-is police training centre,

Kids lured in with displays of police horses, dogs, helicopters, vintage cop cars,  etc.

2 HOURS to drive a stretch of road that should have taken 10 minutes.  In HOT sunshine (yay car aircon)   :sunny:

Then we arrived... rain + thunder!  :rain: All the tents/booths were rammed with other noisy folks taking shelter, no room for us!

Turned back + tried to drive home, another 25 mins to exit a muddy field (normally a couple of minutes) oh, the hot sun came out again  :pout: my husband was very hangry + had to be fed copious bags of sweets from our treats stash...

on the plus side - we took our soggy selves to TRU as my kid had been gifted toy vouchers from a friend - she got Shopkins, a plush PinkiePie, Glimmies + NomNums (spelling?) AND I found a £5 note on the shop floor (nobody around so I could not ask) which added to her toy budget!  :thumb:

They then had a McDonalds for a lazy lunch - grrr I am on a clean-eating thing so had to decline  >_<

Well more rain, not that we need any, at least it is not a huge downpour.

I am tired of hearing about Game of Thrones. My siblings have killed any and all interest I ever had in giving the show a chance and my patience is wearing thin with my brother constantly bringing it up. I don't want to watch it, I don't care.
