Title: Can anyone identify this pony?
Post by: karrie91 on November 01, 2012, 11:23:12 PM
I thought she was a fakie at first.. she's slightly smaller than other ponies but has 'Hasbro 2002' on her hoof..

Her cutie mark is on both sides.

She's more of a pink than orange.

Any ideas? I couldn't find her on Strawberry Reef or the Fakie's Guide..

She's fake, as far as I know? She's a very convincing fake, though!

but is has Hasbro written on it? how would they get away with that? Or maybe that's why they aren't being produced anymore? xDD

That's what I don't understand lol!

She literally has a hoof with hasbro's copyright on it. But she has to be fake. 2 cutie marks? Different feeling material and no hearts in her eyes. She does have a hoof heart also. But she's so much smaller than a regular pony.

Actually, it's not impossible to have 'Hasbro' under the hoof! Some of the previous fakies have had this too - it just means they made a mold out of an existing Hasbro pony, and didn't bother to blur out their copyright. XD

I can't believe companies would do this..

Yep, it's pretty unbelievable! I think the problem is that, with bootlegging so common in China (since Chinese law doesn't have a punishment for bootlegging, I think?), it's only really financially worthwhile to go after the bootleggers who are costing Hasbro a lot of money. Otherwise, they'd be in court all the time, trying to stop all of the fakie-companies!

Its definitively a fake, I have a few fakies like this except for that they are in a different pose and dont have any symbols at all. they even have the molding imprint of the originals magnet XD

she's a fakie. I've seen her before.
sometimes places that use hasbro molds (like that) still have the feet imprints

Nice find!  I personally like the fakies that use Hasbro's mold.

Very cute! But certainly a fakie and I have seen her before too although I think she was a lilac colour if I remember correctly.

I much prefer Hasbro mould fakies over any others - they are real fakies if you know what I mean lol!
