Here's my own small G2 collection.

Left to right: Princess Golden Light, Princess Silver Rain, butch haircut Eve (I love her, I need to make some punk accessories for her), Prince Blue Dream, Prince Firefly, Golden Glow (found her in a Seattle Goodwill!!), Melody but I call her Jazzy, Baby Tickle Heart, Light Heart, Gardener, Snowball.
Prince Blue Dream came in a lot that didn't include Princess Golden Dream, so now he's Prince Firefly's boyfriend. I headcanon that Blue Dream and Golden Dream are twins, not a couple. They even have the same symbol, like typical MLP twins. 
That’s a really *nice* small collection! But watch out... I once had a “small collection” of G2 that looked about like that (numbers-wise, not awesomeness-wise lol). It looks much different now... < .<

I know Eve and Copper Glow are tough to get hold of, but what about Miss Painter?
She’s not quite as HTF as the other two, but still doesn’t turn up that often (esp w/ accessories if loose). Ilove her vibrant colors!

Anyone know what company made this style of fakie? They're 80s or early 90s and they made a bunch of them with different molded outfits.

I just found an elephant with a brushable tail and am wondering if it's from the same company, the style and hair texture is similar.
They're mini Tara ponies.

They also came in accessory/furniture sets that were packaged in cute plastic cases.
Also sets (Tara Toy Corp) called “carousel cuties”, which I think the hippos, giraffes etc fell under. (If I could simply and easily upload an image, I would, but...)

I adore G2s. The sparkly eyes for starters! When a desk lamp shines on them, it’s as though the room is filled with lightning bugs.  As for favorite... it kind of depends on the day lol... but Wed afternoon bride and...errrrrg, can’t think of her name. White with purple hair and crescent moon...and Prince Firefly, and Twins Fire and Flame. What about playsets? What’s everyone’s favorite playset? I love the wedding carriage. It’s such a lovely display in its box (and the little beanie g2s rest on top quite well...), and out of box (I have both...) is just fun. And the G2 castle is my favorite castle of all gens of MLP castles.

What are those ones with the glass eyes please? They are so pretty!
G2 fakies from Toys R Us I got a few years ago. I just love them. Especially the white uni with gold hair. <3
I know this is probably way old but I'm interested in those G2 fakies with the glass eyes, does anyone know their manufacturers? What their line is called, ect?

Yeah, for me, it’s usually the opposite. A pony seems “meh” until I see her in person then... *starry anime eyes*
I think the only one that is kind of “starry eyes to meh” would be Mimic, but it’s more to do with her pose than anything else. That pose just doesn’t work on Mimic, for me. i would love to have a custom Mimic in a walking pose, with a different hair color...

Def need a second opinion, but as a general idea, under $10 each for the first five listed (I am thinking more like $5 if in super good shape) and I am guessing probably at least $15 each for the others if decent cond, maybe more if in really great condition (at least, here in the US where the post-1998 (or ‘99??) g2s weren’t released. Not sure about prices across the Pond)
Another opinion would be a good thing, here, though.
