A sea pony shell for free... forget whose it was, but I ended up selling it on eBay since I don't currently have any sea ponies in my collection and got about $35 for it if I recall!

Nice :D, free stuff is always better when it sells for a good price :D

Is Steamer for $12 and Princess Tiffany for $10 (no accessories for either) good?

Thats a little high for Tiffany but a couple of $ low on Steamer - so it balances out I guess. And as long as you love them thats all that matters :)

Really? It's about half of what either of them usually go for on eBay.

An ended auction search will show you a nice average for the pony - Tiffany is as likely to sell for $3 as she is for $20 - therefore you have to consider average and fair price. As mentioned it doesnt matter as long as you like the ponies and its about condition as well that will largely influence the price. "Worth" is an opinion after all - so if they were lower than you expected to pay then they are a bargain for you :)

This! Plus prices will always be lower if the market is flooded at the time. Natevansate managed to get me a really minty Icey for cheap at Christmas as the market had seen a few pop up. The first one of that load of Icey's on eBay went for £70 (in not so great condition) and then a load showed up and therefore we were able to get a minty one for about £30

Well, I usually only look at the Buy It Now sales. In any case I bought these in person, and shipping would have made any eBay deals cost about as much anyway.

So cool reading everyone's pony luck! :) Seems we've all been lucky one time or another!

I've had some luck, too;

French Cotton Candy and Dutch Shell for free in a bag with a ton of other common ponies I got from an aunt
Princess Taffeta with crown clip, wand, pick and ribbon for free, as I helped a friend clean out her attic and got to keep all the ponies we found ;)
Dutch Heart, Candy and Star for one euro each on the flea market
Red princess dragon for fifty cents on the flea market
French Moonstone and Sunlight for about 2.50 each
She is
Cinderella in disguise, or the mermaid in despite
Of her very human feet, dancing in her ballroom suite

I love reading about pony luck! :D

I found a minty Diamond Dreams at the thrift store for about $2. And my friend found about 60 G1s for $15 for me at the flea market :) Mostly common ones, but there were Baby Sea Ponies with floats, TAF Yum Yum, a Flower Fantasy pony and a bunch of Lady Lovely Locks Pixie Tails which I always wanted! ^.^
