I've been hunting for a near mint Party Time for weeks if not months and I'm starting to think it's just not possible. Every single PT has some form of regrind, cancer, or discoloration. The Twinkle Eyed ponies seem to be affected particularly bad by it. Same thing with Gingerbeard, Sweet Stuff, Quackers, and several others.

Which pony is it impossible for you to find in near mint condition?

Flutter pony Cloud Puff, can't seem to find her without regrind or some kind of spots all over her.

Sunbeam.  I'm looking for a blue one with perfect glitter.  But I don't want to pay a fortune for her.  :)

Aside from the ponies already mentioned, Cherry Treats and Quarterback are on my list.  I'm beginning to think that the only way to find them in near mint condition is to take a time machine back to the 1980s...

It was SS Gusty until Monday when I finally snagged a near mint one!  I agree with Party Time, and Cloud Puff.  I don't think one with out spots exist!

I have a Gingerbread who WOULD have been perfect, as you say.....
But someone made her wear that pink saddle for years & her pristine white without brown blemish or anything anywhere is all disrupted by saddle sores.

I would also nominate the Magic Message ponies for this category.
There always seems 1 scuff to the symbol, or some flaw around the edge or something going on. Very frustrating.

What about Starflower, Pinwheel or Trikkle?
Tickle can be ok, so can Euro Confetti, but those 3 guys up there its like they will have EITHER glitter rust OR regrind. Sometimes both. Starshine is also a pest but I have seen a perfect one.

That adult seapony with the red hair too, seems she's always got damage.
But that's probably only because she is rare anyhow you hardly ever see her *at all* which of course, reduces your chance of seeing a good one anyway.

I also, would be really curious to see a photo if someone actually HAS a Party Time without a flaw. (or really, any of the nominated ponies people are posting)
I think you have picked on the one pony who actually there may be 0 of that is unflawed. Is it just a rumor that "big hats" PT is more prone to problems than small hats? I have both (a sucker for variants) but each has at least 1 mark of that weird hot pink that comes into their orange.

BB Salty and Brush n Grow Bouquet. Body discolouration, age marks, pen marks, hair cuts, symbol bleeding, fading pink, broken mechanisms... and that darned Fizzy pose with its wonky legs and tippy over tendencies! I've been looking at Saltys for years and Bouquets for months but nobody has come near the 'must buy' level.

Gingerbeard, you say.....? I'm imagining Gingerbread with a gruff voice and a big fluffy pale blue beard now.

My party time has 1 light spot of re grind and it's hiding under her hair. The only one in near mint condition in the continental US...

I believe I have a near mint Cloud Puff. I have to check once I get back to Finland. But I would like to nominate PP Dainty Dahlia. One with pink hair and nondiscolored blue body just doesn't seem to exist.

Argentina Posey and Baby Posey??? Spain Posey?!?
Like, what the heck?!? :lmao:
There's always scratched symbols, scratched eyes, or missing plugs.
With Spain Posey, mismatched head. Why? Why is she almost always mismatched?? I'm fading her head right now in attempts to match it, so far going okay... But she also has scratched symbols.
I can tame THE FRIZZIEST of hair, so that wouldn't bother me at all with the Argie. Otherwise, ugghhh! :drunk:

Edit: Glory and Gusty are up there  for me too. There's always that little SOMETHING.
I've decided to try and find some yucky yellowed one and hope they have no other problems. That way, I can just sunfade them to perfection.  :lookround:

Recent Pony of the Day, Trickles--I don't think I've ever seen a mint one.

Confetti, yes, she gets the brown spots, brown head/body, and/or symbol bleed.

I've had the pleasure of having these beauties come through my hands (all sold):

Sunbeam--ugh, so hard to find with glitter like this one had:

It's hard to tell in this pic, but this Pinwheel had perfect symbols:

I was shocked to find this Starshine in a job lot:
