My bed is mess of pillows  But the one I can't sleep without is my Miracle Bamboo knee pillow. It's for comfort, nothing sentimental. I just can't sleep with my knees touching. It's hurts my back and hip.
I also have a Gravity blanket and man, is it great. It's very hard for me to sleep without it. Even if it's too hot for a blanket I at least put it over my head.
I used to sleep with an expensive plush leopard that my ex got me (while we were still together) but after we split it just made me upset, so I stopped. That was the last plushie I slept with.
Oh, can't forget my cat :P
-
I need a pillow to sleep.
And I've always a cat, or two (or three) in the bed
-
Plushies are my favorite! I'm getting a Shinx Pokemon plush for Christmas that's just about the fluffiest thing you've ever seen. Ooh, I hope I can't make room for it on the Shinx shelf so I'll just have to keep it on my bed.
Gravity blankets sound so nice... I just pile on blankets to get a similar effect, when it's cold enough at least :lookround:
-
I always sleep with a weighted blanket and atleast one cat.

This little lady here is my bed companion:

She's the plushie sharky from Ikea, & I love her to bits. Had her since 2019
Oh, I also need pillows due to big shoulders

I don't sleep with anything per se but my bed does have a whole bunch of plushes down it. Most precious of which are my owls, Po and Owlie, one of whom was a good luck gift when I began my MA, the other of which I brought back from Innsbruck airport. Then there are two little round kitsune, a couple of other Japanese plush, a cushion, a kitten plush and Sunset Shimmer. Also often a small Twilight Sparkle who I kept because of her funny grumpy face. There's not really room for them. But they're here, so...;)
As a kid I never slept with a plush. I did sometimes sleep with my stacking cups when I was really little though. And I have a vague memory of being five or six and having ponies on the pillow with me...

pillows and cats

usually there are a lot of pillows and quilts

I guess I'm the odd man out. I was gifted a scottie plush when I was three and until 5 years ago she was my bed accessory. Hubby said it was time to shelf her as she was showing her age. I had a knockoff that took her place for awhile; then I was told to grow up. Now I've got one of those smaller my pillows (with a lovely blue velvet cover). I sleep like I'm in a sarcophagus with my arms crossed to my shoulders so having something under my chin and in my arms is a necessity or my neck hurts.
-
lots of pillows, blankets and 2 dogs. most of the pillows are for one of my dogs. she sleeps on top of the pillows above my head. sometimes she kicks me. our other dog also sleeps in the bed but she's more restless. we can never have enough pillows and blankets because my dogs try to claim them. they're good dogs so i like spoiling them :)

I was always a heavy plushie sleeper and I only weaned off it when my partner and I started living together. Then I'd only sleep with plushies if I was having a really bad day or if he wasn't there for the night.
But then one day he brought home a Squishmallow for me as a gift and it's form their Hug Mee's line of longer, full body squishes and he has adorned our bed ever since. The real kicker is my partner is the one cuddling with him, not me. Squeezes it to death nearly every night. I have to agree though, it's one of the cuddliest things I've ever slept with!

I sleep with a plushie. For the past couple months or so it's been my jumbo Nala plush.

I swear that reminds me of how my husband kept commandeering fox plushies of mine when we were dating XP First it was kind of a chubby one I'd found at Good Will then it was a longer skinnier fox plush I got in exchange for art in a trade. He called that one Foxy.
-
Lots of plushies, Our Generation doll, and blankets also a pillow case (only because I dribble a lot). I hug my Captain Marvel Build a Bear in bed, I suck my blanket sometimes in my sleep.
-
I never got into the habit of sleeping with a toy - but my bed has MANY pillows, to the dismay of my husband! But I have won him over, he now appreciates the comfort of multiple pillows keeping him snug :)
When I redecorated the bedroom I bought new sheets & co-ordinating pillows - taking inspiration from a smart display in M&S - there were 8 on the bed! He was used to sleeping with just 1
-
I like to sleep hugging something. I guess I got too attached to stuffed animals as a kid, and now I rest easier when my arms are stretched around something or I've got a pillow in a headlock. Right now my bed bud is a pillow/plush shaped like the Aquabats mascot, the prototype of the one I have on my etsy.
-
I'm always sleeping with something though what I sleep with changes, not including my little heartbeat body when I remember and am not to tired/lazy to grab him, I rotate between a few different plushies (Otto - BaG bear, What - stuffed racoon I got I believe from a thrift store, ChiMo my Squishmellow owl under my legs and depending on if I've had an emotional day one of my dolls (Vish, X, "Janus", Candy, or Candy) will make it into the bed with me. Also on occasion I tuck my Snuzzle vinyl figure Hannah gave me under my pillow. Add a small(big) collection of other stuffed animals, add Hannah when she's there and any number of four cats and it's amazing there's room for anything/anyone else.

Plushies for me :) Usually just my favourite, a little dog named Blackie that I've had for years and years, but sometimes one or two others make it in if it's a really bad night and I feel lonely.
I don't have any special blankets or anything, but I can't sleep without at least one blanket on my legs, even if it's oh-god-I'm-melting heat :p
-
I've always to squish a Squishmallow but I don't go to the store anymore, I order everything online. What are they filled with? Is it memory foam or something?
-
Oh i sleep with multiple plushies in my bed, usually hugging an off brand nemuneko (those fat cat blob plushies), which is awesome. since i have got it more than 5 years ago it helps me sleep, because it's the perfect size to hug for me so i can sleep easier on my side without hurting my shoulders or back or something like that. it's a yellow cat with closed eyes and i call her kartoffel (=potato) because she kinda reminds me of one :)
i also use a pillow or sometimes an unfortunate plushie for the knee thats higher up when sleeping on the side so my hip doesn't hurt, which is nice too.
-
I do sleep with my plushies on my bed but I don't really hug them when I sleep (that only happened to me once recently) I do hug them before I go to sleep.
The things that I always got to sleep with are a comforter a thin blanket and a pillow under my head. And even when it's too hot to sleep under a blanket and a comforter I feel the need to use them because it's hard for me to fall asleep without them.

A giant goldfish pillow that thinks it's a shark. I bought over 20 yrs ago from Kmart. I took it to China with me because their pillows are not normal. There is also a plush lobster that is usually on my bed. my grandma bought it for me back in 1992ish. I also took it to China.

Bakana, my sharky, says yum yum yum yum, tasty fish!!!

Just the pillows, but my bed is the corner type and it came with three elongated pillows that form an L, the two side ones are great to bury your face in when sleeping on the side. I would probably like to have a plushie to sleep with but I'm worried what my mom would think, although I may buy myself a weighted blanket or one of those full body pillows one day.
-
I highly recommend a weighted blanket. I love mine.
-
I don't know if it counts as sleeping with, but I do have my most favorite plush toys on my bed. Mostly vintage or cartoon character ones.
-
At the moment, I always sleep with a hot water bottle. It's just so comfy and warm.
-
I don’t sleep with any proper plushies, but I do always need to have a fuzzy pillow to cuddle with. I just like having something soft I can bury my face into! ^.^
I also recently got a weighted blanket….I thought it was nice but it wasn’t until I stayed over at my parents house without it that I realized just how much I treasure that thing. The extra weight really does make a difference for a good nights sleep!
-
I still have my baby blanket that I used till about 15 years ago. I can't not wash it or use it anymore. Its littlery almost gone. I still have it and put it away. I will never get rid of it! I was given a newer blanket by my dad about that same time that I stopped using it. I use this new one every night when I go to bed. I can't sleep without a little blanket over my ear and head! LOL
-
I have a pillow like that, achab :) I sometimes still sleep with him when I'm feeling really depressed or scared. Otherwise he lives in my pajama drawer. I've had him since I was a baby and as a kid I would eat him :lookround: so he's just a small lumpy thing now.
-
Does my husband count? He is soft, squishy and warm. :P
-
I have plush at both ends of my bed, and a tiger puppet I sleep with.
-
Been sleeping with my Shere Khan plush again since I washed him recently. He's such a nice size and body shape for sleeping with in the laying down pose he's in.
-
oh the special special thing i can't sleep without is definitely this quilt my gramma made me, but i sleep with several ponies!!! twilight aj and cheerilee are the big ones :accomplished:
-
I can't sleep without a pillow to hug.
