Thank you! I adore her with this body too (and it's great how close a match it is - of course there's no shimmer, but it's totally not that apparent). It's funny how the same head and make-up can look so different also in age if you put it on a different body and style the hair differently.

Aah, this album is so cool!  The ones I love the most are the TAF purple Lanard set - plus for personal reasons, the Lanard paints and the MGR babies - I had/have both of these from my childhood. I was also surprised and happy to see the "Glass Eyed Spunky" fakie - I just found her twin at a flea market last year, and couldn't leave all that sass behind! I took photos, but haven't got around to edit them, I'll try to sometime soon. What I did manage to edit though, is a photo I took of my Lanards last weekend - I managed to gather them (minus a green knockoff girl who is MIA) for a family selfie-type of photo: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

The white "teen" pony on the top left and the peach sitting baby fakie are knock-offs, the rest are original Lanards. It is interesting to compare the details, and it's funny how e.g. the fakie baby has more detail (painted hooves, tinsel) than the original sitting baby  Plus, here is this Chap Mei baby knockoff I found also sometime last year. I had Chap Mei babies in my childhood, but never a rearing one like this. I love this pose, and I also love the dark purple colour. Congrats on catching a shiny Treecko! I agree with the shiny thing completely. I don't necessarily want the shinies to be a totally different colour, just a little more obvious. I also caught a shiny Pikachu a couple of weeks ago, and yeah, the differencei s barely visible. Same goes for shiny Squirtle. And I've already complained about shiny Alolan Vulpix, TBH I still can't see the difference, I basically only know because of the shiny icon  Today, while stuck at home, I somehow finally hatched my 10k egg and it was Gible. Worth the wait! I have a research task that is "hatch 4 eggs," ridiculously hard when I'm staying home.
How is everyone else playing Pokemon Go? I haven't been as dedicated recently since I can't leave the house, but Pokemon spawn in our house regularly so I've been trying to keep up my catch streak at least.
Congrats on hatching Gible! I'm complaining so much abot this to my husband (who still doesn't like the game, so it's limited complaining, but thefact that I mentioned this to him more than once, knowing that he doesn't want to hear, already shows my frustration)... I think they said they'll make the game more playable? And they could totally do that easily, but the reailty is: "Hatch 4 eggs"-quests and egg-hatching walking events. Seriously? We are in frigging quarantine!  In my country it's against the law to leave the house if your work doesn't require you to, or of it isn't for necessities. I work from home, so I play on the way to the grocery store, and back on the few occasions of going out. That's not a lot, because... law. I do have 1(-3, depending on where the GPS puts me) Pokéstops that I can spin from home, but the quests they give are totally not achievable (like the egg-hatching ones we already mentioned). So while I get to the store I usually also try to collect 3 "sane" quests that I can do from home in the upcoming days (e.g. transfer..., win a battle, evolve..., power up..., take a snapshot...; I honestly thought they'll make these type of quests more common to ease gameplay, that would have sounded reasonable and easy). I haven't really noticed an insreased spawn around my home either. Yesterday my quest was to catch 10 Pokémon, and I had to log in several times during the day to see if there's any. It was super frustrating... I'm losing my interest like this... Just to end on a positive note, Arlo occupied the Pokéstop I can spin from home the other day, and I found it so annoying that I decided to try to beat him. I've given up on beating leaders because I never even got close, but now after 2-3 tries I felt I could probably to it with a little more tactics... and after about 10 tries I DID IT! I was so happy any proud of my guys! I don't really know what this actually means, I hope that I'm not gonna see him ever again

Apologies, I'm resurrecting this topic, because I think this is an ongoing issue for many of us ever since Photobucket did their... thing  The recommendations in the topic may come handy also to others I use Postimage if it's any help.
How long have you been using this site? I've just checked their policy, and they don't seem to have anything about picture removal after a certain time, which sounds good, but probably too good? I've just recently registered to Imgur, but I'm not sure about their current storage policy (it used to be 6 months in case of inactive images, which appears to have been removed in 2015 - but that was also 5 years ago now, and I simply can't seem to find their most recent policy. So for me, Imgur is what I have recently started to use for photos that I consider less 'artsy' e.g. stuff for sale. For photos I take to be visually enjoyed, I have been using Flickr for a long time now, and for this purpose I'm happy with it - but the did introduce an 1000 free picture storage limit in the past 1-2 years.

I'd be happy to sell or trade this Baby Apple Delight - sadly she has chopped off hair, purplish stains all over her face, and dark grubbiness all over her body. I've increased the contract of the pictures a bit to make them more visible, and you can also enlarge them. Sadly, these are all after a thorough soapy bath, and in case of the facial stains, after a try at acetone removal. Any tips on how to open a Magic Motion with the leg/head action without damaging her? I want to reroot but my fingers are about to break trying to pry the head off.
That's the one in Ivy's pose? I did actually break one of those (and nearly my fingers).
So... warm water is the key.

The plug is glued into the body à la G4 so to say. I wriggled Sundance's out with warm water and a screwdriver (and stabbed myself  as noted before)
I'm actually working on a page about this on my website! Should be done by the end of the day
Apologies for the dumb question, but could you let me know which one out of these is similar to Royal Ladies Light Heart (one leg up, no leg movement, only spinning tail)? Do these share head/neck peg mold? Have you successfully reassembled (or tried doing it to) the ones you've taken apart? I'm considering customising a double I have of Royal Ladies Light Heart, but I'm intimidated by probably not being able to reassemble her. I also don't think she is in bad enough condition to customise her, so I'm rather kinda trying to talk myself off But then again, the pose is super cute - anyone has one with chopped off hair? That would solve part of my issues with the situation

Okay, today I grabbed my Baby Cotton Candy whom I thought had relatively nice pink hair, and took some photos of her next to Royal Rose (and a totally faded Baby CC). It shocked me to see how much more vibrant RR's hair is! Before having them next to one another, I thought the colour difference to be much less. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginWith this, I'm even less sure about her having fading pink hair - but the experiences with her hair fading still make me think she might have been produced with both types of hair? Any thoughts? After the above pictured experience I grabbed RR and compared her to Glitter Glide as well, who I know has a fading pink top streak, as I have two of her, one with a pink and one with a white streak on top. While earlier I thought their pinks match, next to one another GG's* hair is notably less vibrant and less pink. Then again, her hair can also be somewhat faded (I got her second-hand), but it is much closer in colour to Baby Cotton Candy's hair (though CC's hair has a more peachy undertone). *did it occur to anyone else too that all the ponies I'm talking about in this post have alliterating names? *geek*

Cross-posting this from my sales thread, as here people who are interested in them might find them easier This Chap Mei fakie family is for sale - asking $10 for all (excl. shipping). I believe they are fakies of the fakies, as there are absolutely no markings on them, and their plastic is different from regular Chap Mei plastic. Still, they are lovely to look at, and could be a great addition to a Chap Mei collector's herd They do have issues though: thinning hair (on all, but the blue baby has it the most bad - see pic), some wonky paint (on all), the babies' bodies are very thin plastic (especially the blue's), and the blue baby also has a head-body mismatch. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMore pics can be found in this album: https://imgur.com/a/TmWSPKU
