[Disclaimer: cross-posted from the MH Arena]

Hi all,

I'd like to sell the below dolls. Prices are in USD, and exclude shipping and PayPal fees. Prices are negotiable if you buy more items ^^

Shipping: Rochelle's shipping would cost approx. $30 priority and tracked, it would be much cheaper for the individual loose dolls (around $11 priority and tracked, if sent in a bubble mailer).
Shipping would be much cheaper also for Rochelle if I sent her in bubble wrap and not in a box, but in that case the box would definitely be crushed on the way :(
Rochelle's $30 shipping costs stay the same up to 2 kgs, which is faaaar heavier than Rochelle in a box. I could probably ship all dolls&items currently listed in this thread for this same shipping price. Feel free to ask me if there is anything else you're looking for, I'll have a look, to save on shipping ;)

1. MIB Haunted Rochelle, $40. She is a duplicate I bought her in store years ago for customising, but I have since luckily found another, loose and nude one, so I don't have to ruin this boxed one.

More pictures can be found in this Imgur album, and I am happy to take extra photos upon request.

2. Haunted Porter, loose, $15. His accessories are still attached with rubber bands. He only comes with the accessories pictured (no stand. I'm not sure if anything else is missing).

3. Recharge Chamber Frankie, $10. Loose doll only, she comes with her dress and nothing else. She needs cleaning and hairstyling...

4. Cushion, original version, $3. (sorry for the battery, it was intended for size comparison ^^; )

5. CAM Ice and Blob girl set, $20 for the two dolls together. Condition is visibly played with - the hair-wig needs styling, the clothes need washing, joints are loose, hands are discoloured, and the Blob girl's neck has some whitening on the plastic, possibly due to stress/tension.

More pictures can be found in this Imgur album, and I am happy to take extra photos upon request.

6. Nude Elle Eedee, $8. Another doll I bought to customise, but have then found a better candidate. This girl still has her factory hairstyle and is in good condition, just does not come with her clothes.

More pictures can be found in this Imgur album, and I am happy to take extra photos upon request.

7. Signature (rerelease) Abbey, $8. Nude, her hair should come out good after some styling (I think the photos make it look worse than it actually is. I am happy to wash&style if you are interested in her, but aren't sure if you are OK with the hair's condition).

More pictures can be found in this Imgur album, and I am happy to take extra photos upon request.

8. Mad Science Ghoulia, $6. Nude, she comes only with her earrings. Bought for customs, but her hair is glued inside, and later I found another doll who did not have glued hair and was thus easier to work with.

Hi all,

(some of you might remember, as I've surely complained about this in the past here&over on the MH Arena, that) 1/16" size ribbons are completely unavailable in my country. I've been looking for them for years, and haven't found a single shop that carried them, offline or online - or even heard about them. 1/8 is the thinnest ribbon around here, and you can imagine the surprised faces I've seen when I actually started to carry some 1/16 with me to show what I mean when I say thin satin ribbon! -_- But to their defense, I too only know about its existence from it being used on doll clothing.

Long story short, it is available in the US, and I found an eBay seller who has a great variety of colours. Shipping within the US also seems to be free. Would someone be able to help me by buying some for me (or offering their address to be shipped there - in this case I can do the actual buying and paying on eBay), and then forwarding the ribbons to me?

Thank you in advance to anyone who could help me out :)

Customs / Royal Rose - does she have fading pink hair?
« on: March 24, 2020, 02:57:31 AM »
Could someone please help me out by confirming whether the lighter pink in Royal Rose's hair is fading pink or not? The pictures I found of her online in a played with condition all show her with pink hair, which makes me believe it isn't the fading type, but since I'm totally no G3 expert, and don't have a lot of G1s who have really pink fading pink hair, I can't really determine.

I just found one with lovely bright pink hair, and I wouldn't leave her out if that would risk her hair losing its colour.

Thanks a lot for the help in advance! :lovey:

Pony Brag Arena / Charity shop pony luck - another Alt. Birthflower!
« on: December 23, 2019, 09:49:31 AM »
Last Tuesday I left work a little earlier (shifting some overtime hours off), and on my way to a certain shop I passed a charity shop. I was aware it is there, I just didn't plan to visit other shops on my way - however, now that I was there, I decided to go in, and boy, was that a good decision!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

They all seem to be in good condition (apart from the MGR fakie's hair, but I don't mind that. I have a childhood pony like this, just darker blue with pink hair, and her hair looks even worse - even though I didn't handle her roughly. My original MLPs who got just as much play have much better hair, so this is just what you get with fakie hair :) ), the spots and stains on them seem to me like something that will come off after a day at the spa :) I'm happy with all of them, and it's tough to decide which one I like the most (Baby Surprise is darling sweet, but the MGR fakie is equally sweet, I love this fakie mold), but I'm leaning towards June Rose - not only because she's rare, but because even though her colours aren't that unique, I was secretly wishing to have her someday, as June is my birth month :) She's the third Alternate Birthflower I found in the wild here, and none of them came from shops that normally sell imported goods, so I'm getting more and more certain that Alt. Birthflowers were, at some point, available in stores here. 3 of them in the wild in 1.5 years would seem just too much luck, too unlikely otherwise.

I picked up this tiny carriage in a charity shop yesterday, as I love mini things, and thought its scale would make it a cute addition to a doll shelf. It looks to me as if it was related to the Cinderella franchise (about which I know almost nothing, so I can be wrong and misleading here), but I didn't manage to find out where this little thing is from. Does anyone recognise it?

I forgot to take a picture of the bottom, there's a number (in black, in two rows) printed there, but no branding or other text.

Hello everyone,

I've just recently learned about Squishy Pops mini MLP figures (I got one in a random toy lot), and I instantly fell in love with them, and would like to have a ton more! The issue? Just the usual one: they are not available here... I'd be happy to buy a few off you if you've accumulated doubles :) Loose, and lots would be preferred to save on shipping - I did check eBay and found a nice lot in the UK, but the seller doesn't ship outside the UK, and the settings don't even let me ask if they'd reconsider...

---

I missed out on ST AJ last year, butI'd still like to have her. I'd be looking for her in box, and she'd have to be shipped overseas, to Europe.

---

For reference, here's a list of items I have available for trade:

MLP [link to sales thread with pictures]
- G1 Baby Schoolbag
- G1 Wave Runner (x2)
- G1 Princess Primrose (no tail)
- G1-type Crumpet fakie
- Chap Mei fakie family
- Baity Baby Apple Delight

Other [link to sales thread with pictures]
- mini Pound Ponies x5
- mini Pound Puppies x2 (not yet pictured)
- Snugglebumms adults Mama and Papa (not yet pictured in the thread)
- Pikachu windchime
- various Pokémon figures
- other anime merch (see some pictured in the thread)
- Galoob Magic Diaper Babies from the early 1990s (I have A LOT, but I have yet to picture all)
- 90s Puppy in my Pocket dogs
- some 80s-90s Trolls

Pony Brag Arena / Happy finds from a weekend visit to the in-laws
« on: August 14, 2019, 01:24:37 PM »
Two weeks ago (yeah, I took ages to finally post these pics, sorry -_- ) we went to my husband's parents and spent the weekend there, like we usually do during the end of each month. During these visits there are certain places I like to visit, like two second-hand shops, and a flea market held on Saturday mornings in the parking place of a local supermarket. One of the second-hand shops never has ponies (but usually has lovely household items), but the other one sometimes does, and so does the flea market. This weekend I got super lucky, because I came home with 3 ponies - but what ponies! I find it really hard to pick a favourite... two of them have a yellow body (which is my favourite pony colour), and the third one is - wow, just wow!

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Satin Splash is an upgrade, mine has worse hair and stains. Ringlet is a hot mess: she literally has dreadlocks, is covered in stains and has spiderwebs on her wings :P but oh wow, that colour! This pastel yellow might be my new favourite!  :lovey:  I'm sure I can clean her up to a state I'll be happy with. I was never a picky collector, and I could forgive a lot to a pony with such a lovely colour scheme. The third pony... oh boy! I spotted her on the way to the table of the lady who was selling her from further away, and on my way to the table I was thinking "wow, a Minty, finally, I never had her" - and then when I grabbed her, well, she was not Minty   I know little about Nirvanas, so I needed to do some research to find out who she is. What still makes me wonder though is how she got here - I'm pretty sure these ponies weren't released here, but based on the little info I found, not even in countries that are close to us...

Customs / Seeking help: discoloured doll hair - can I fix it?
« on: June 25, 2019, 02:01:08 PM »
Hi there,

apologies for opening this topic here and not in the Dollhouse - the reason for this is that I am asking about synthetic hair discoloration, and we have more hair experts around in the Customs section. I feel the fact that the particular hair in question is on a doll is secondary in the current situation, however, if you feel this topic does not belong here, please feel free to move it to the Dollhouse.

I'm turning to you for help regarding fixing a flawed wig belonging to a doll I recently purchased. The doll in question (a Pullip Snow Miku) arrived to me with parts of the wig discoloured/yellowed. The discoloration only affects parts of the hair, in particular the top of the head, and slightly also the pigtails, as if the source of discoloration was coming from the top&the back. A stripe where the earmuffs used to be remains unaffected (but one of the earmuffs' white part also shows yellowing).
I wasn't aware of this, nor was the seller, who is lovely and seems helpful, but she also doesn't know what we could do. My first thought was light, so I asked about light conditions in the glass cabinet where she was stored (I knew she was stored this way), but the cabinet was apparently standing in a shadowy spot of the previous owner's bedroom, and the doll didn't get exposed to the sun. Another possibility I had in mind was a chemical reaction... probably the glue used to secure the wig was seeping out, causing discoloration? Hovever, how did it seep down the pigtails, our out to the outer, white part of the earmuffs? The fact that only the top layer of the hair is affected (so if I "dig" into the hair on top/back to check the hairs closer to the scalp, there is intact hair beneath) makes me believe it is not the glue though. Whatever the cause may be, the hair (and the earmuffs, but I am more concerned about the hair) is yellowed, and a gentle partial shampoo-wash sadly didn't change anything. Have you ever seen something like this, and do you possibly have any recommendations on how to fix it (other than changing the wig...). It would be nice if we could fix her up especially because she was a limited edition doll, and there are only so much of her available.

Here are two pictures to demonstrate the discoloration (on the first pic, the bottom of a pigtail is pulled closer to show the colour difference; on the second pic you can see the band of unchanged colour where the earmuffs were while she was on display):

Customs / Hair colour match for G2 babies Dreamer and Drifter?
« on: May 21, 2019, 12:54:02 PM »
Hi all,

as the subject says, I would love to know what hair colours I should order if I'd like to rehair G2 baby twins Dreamer and Drifter. I found them with haircuts, and I am thinking of restoring them.

Thanks for the help in advance! ^^

After years of dreaming about it, this year I had the chance to visit the Netherlands during Kings day. To boot, I had lovely company: Barnacle_lady has offered to come pony hunting with me! These are all the things I came home with (apologies for also going off-topic, but I wanted to share my non-pony finds too :) ):

First, the ponies ^.^ The baby G2s and G1s were all found as a big lot on our very last stop! It was so awesome to find them all together, they are quite the handful: the lady who sold them wanted to take a picture of us holding them (because she was happy we are taking them all, and she liked them too :D ), and we had some trouble trying to hold them all at once :)
Silver Swirl also came from this lot (her baby stayed with Barnacle_lady because she didn't have her yet :) ).

The rest of the ponies were found earlier separately. Many have haircuts, but I don't mind that. I think I'll try to restore, or at least rehair some of these.

The single G1 adult pony we found was Parasol - she too needs some TLC: she has a forelock cut, her tail is also shorter, and there are pen marks on one of her legs, but I'm still happy to have her back. Back, because I used to have her in the past (found her in a lot) but sold her because I was a self-supplying student on a student loan back then, and I needed all the little money I could get. I regretted that sale ever since.

I don't collect G3s, but I do have a few I bought because I liked how they look - the same thing happened with this pair. They were found separately, and I only realised it at home that they actually are both 2006 Pegasus ponies, which might be the reason for their similar characteristics - they look super cool together, so I'm sure I'll display them together somewhere after I cleaned them up :)

The Equestria Girls boots will be for my hybrid Novi Stars Una Verse who is on an EG Rainbow Dash body :)

As for non-pony finds... first, the Furbies:
I was most looking forward to find a Dutch G1 Furby, as I only have one like that (even though my herd? flock? of Furbies now  counts over 100 furbabies :inlove:). Sadly noone was selling G1 Furbies that day, but I did find some G1 merchandise: a beany baby and a small plastic figure. The pair of G1 slippers (it might not show up well in the picture: that's what looks like black and white Furby twins :) ) were found by my husband, and were a surprise! He brought it back to our hotel secretly, so I only saw them when we arrived back home :lovey: They are even my size, but I want to keep them as is, so I won't wear them.

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

While I also don't extensively collect G3 Furbies, I bought the white furball, because I like all-white Furbies, and he was cheap. He was said to speak English, but I'm hoping that may prove untrue, as I do know there were Dutch boxes, so I believe Dutch G3 Furby also existed - and this one has an instruction sticker in Dutch in his battery compartment, which seems to be a good sign. Sadly the poor guy is mute, so his language remains a secret for now. I plan to open him up and repair him (I found a good explanatory video), but right now I am still gathering the courage, as even though I've opened up and repaired several G1 Furbies, I've never done it on a G3.

The McDonald's plush G3 comes from an abandoned (and soaking wet) box I came across in the evening - I had to take the poor soaked guy - and even the husband, who normally wouldn't even like any additional collection item (we have space issues), said I should take it. After a swim in the wasking machine he should look much better :)

Then I got some dolls - most of these I plan to customise, some I was even specifically looking for, so I'm really happy about those :)

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

LPS Blythe dolls are not something I collect/owned so far, but I found these too cute to leave them there (the same goes for the Lalaloopsy doll with yarn hair). I have to admit that the LPS Blythes have grown on me a lot since, I can see myself purchasing more of them in the future :P And I already have specific customisation plans for these two (one will get a new body - I've finally found what to do with my extra Picco Neemo body!).
I'm also very happy about the mermaid Clawdeen, because I was contemplating buying her (I seem to have a big love for blue-skinned Monster High dolls, and especially the sea creatures), but never came across her IRL, and I wasn't sure if I would like her in person.

I forgot to take a pic of these, but I also got 2 IKEA dollhouse furniture items that I was also eyeballing for some time already, but didn't want to pay the full price for the set.

And finally, some random other items: two frames, a jewelry holder (that I will repaint), a plush manta, a Hello Kitty PEZ holder and some decorative string (silver stars and beads) - the latter two (and also one of the IKEA furniture items) also came from the free soaked box that contained the Furby McD toy.

Aaaand it's still not over :3 These are not only Kings day brags, but come from the whole trip, but I still wanted to share them, as they gave me similar joy as my Kings day finds. So, I have this accidental collection of camera parts found on trips we had abroad. I did not start collecting these on purpose, in fact, the very first one I picked up because it matched the viewfinder of my camera, and I thought it may come handy if I ever lose mine. Since that time I somehow keep on spotting them, and (of course :P ) picking them up. Funny how these two small boxes of camera parts give me as much joy as my other collections: I open the boxes, take one out and I immediately remember the situation when and where I found it, and then the whole trip and the fun we had there :)
With my new finds (the top 3 ones in the middle - since this picture these too have tags that contain when and where I found them), the count is at 13 pieces - 2 of these come from the Netherlands (one, the one on the left from among these 3, I found on Kings day, when we were walking on the street with Barnacle_lady and with my husband. As I type this I remember the exact location, and Barnacle_lady looking back at me, smiling, when I rushed to catch up with her because of me stopping to pick the viewfinder up), and one from Germany where we also spent some time after we left the Netherlands. The latter is broken, and seems to have chew marks - it makes me wonder what animal might have tried to taste it :)

Hi everyone,

I'd like to sell the below pictured pony, if international shipping is something you'd be willing to pay for them. I accept PayPal, the below prices exclude PayPal fees and shipping.

SHIPPING: starts at $6.3 for regular mail, $6.6 as priority, and $11 as priority with tracking inclulded. This amount stays the same for up to 4 adult ponies.

TRADING: I'd love to trade for Squishy Pops MLP figures, or ST Applejack :)

Chap Mei fakie family, $10 for all - I believe they are fakies of the fakies, as there are absolutely no markings on them, and their plastic is different from regular Chap Mei plastic. Still, they are lovely to look at, and could be a great addition to a Chap Mei collector's herd :)
They do have issues though: thinning hair (on all, but the blue baby has it the most bad - see pic), some wonky paint (on all), the babies' bodies are very thin plastic (especially the blue's), and the blue baby also has a head-body mismatch.

More pics can be found in this album: https://imgur.com/a/TmWSPKU

G1 Baby Schoolbag, $10 - has some slightly dry hair ends, and some signs of wear on her body (scuffs, stains, rub, the most noticeable is a dark stain on her NDS symbol, which I did not try to remove in fear that the symbol's paint might also come off). She looks good to me, but please bear in mind that I'm NOT a picky collector. I'm only selling her because I accidentally found an upgrade, and I don't need two :)

Wave Runners (name your price) - they need to be cleaned up, but they seem to be in good condition

Princess Primrose (name your price) - missing her tail and has heavy paint and symbol rubs, still, I'd rather see her get restored than baited, as her hair is lovely (the one I'm keeping has a haircut and much more messy tinsel. I wish she had hair like this...)

Crumpet fakie (name your price) - love this pose and I'd love this fakie too, but she's just too  neon for me, so I'll continue to look for one with a less harsh colour. She has very try and brittle hair, but the braids and the bows in her hair seem to be factory and not something her previous owner gave her. She seems to have regrind spots over her NDS symbol (tried to photograph, but the orange spots aren't showing up very well on her neon pink body).
I've cleaned her up sice these pictures, need to take new pics.

Bait Baby Apple Delight (name your price) - sadly she has chopped off hair, purplish stains all over her face, and dark grubbiness all over her body. I've increased the contract of the pictures a bit to make them more visible, and you can also enlarge them. Sadly, these are all after a thorough soapy bath, and in case of the facial stains, after a try at acetone removal. I wasn't able to get these off at all, which is why I'm considering her bair even though I'm usually all about G1 restoration :(

Off Topic / Dutch members - tell me about King's Day flea markets!
« on: March 26, 2019, 02:26:31 PM »
I am the type of toy collector who mostly enjoys finding her collectibles out in the wild, it never excites me as much to search for them&buy them off eBay. As a result, I love flea markets where people sell second-hand everyday stuff from their homes rather than vintage stuff/antiques (oh how I miss some of the flea markets of Helsinki :( ). For this reason I've always wanted to visit the all-around-the-country flea market extravaganza that happens on King's Day in The Netherlands. This year we decided to visit - things aren't going well currently*, so in the end we might not make it, but I thought I'd still gather information, because if we can't manage to visit during this year, I'd definitely love to next year, and the information will still be useful then  ^.^

*I won't rant here, but my father keeps on making sure we cannot go because of his carelessness... long story short: we were to go together by car, but it turns out he forgot to tell he and his girlfriend want to go earlier during the month, and they already booked plain tickets. He told us we can take the car and go with my husband, but now it turns out he also promised the car to my sister for that weekend...

We don't have a specific city in mind that we would like to stay at, we plan to spend 4-5 days there and travel to major cities with the car - therefore we can choose which city to spend this particular day at. Do you have any recommendation on which city would be the best to visit during this day with thrifting goals? If there are any, could you please also recommend me specific places (areas, squares, cities) that are the best to check out? Will this event only be taking place on the 27th, or also through the weekend?

I would mainly be looking to find G1&G2 ponies, Furbies (Dutch Furbies! I think I only have one so far *wishful eyes* :inlove: ) and (non-vintage) fashion dolls and doll stuff (like clothes, furniture, car, accessories), and I'm also always on the lookout for tiny female wristwatches (the recent ones with the huge dials look super weird on my tiny wrists, but older ones used to come in smaller sizes).

Thanks to everyone who can help - any tips are welcome! :)

I would like to sell the below items of doll clothing. I am in Europe, willing to ship anywhere :) I accept PayPal. Prices do not include shipping or PayPal fees. Shipping would hopefully not be expensive due to the items being small.

TRADING: I'm happy to trade for ST Applejack, or for a purple top Made to Move Barbie doll.

Mini Bratz dolls (AA battery for size comparison :) ) - they are not in collector's condition. The hair seems to be in factory style on all, but some do need TLC. The blonde girl in pink dress has a rather loose left shoulder, which is also stained by some previous clothing (I suspect - this is how I got her). Most clothes are in good condition, but some show some wear (e.g. the dress of the stained-shoulder blonde girl). I don't know if they are wearing the clothes they originally came with. Dear UK members,

would any of you be able to help me bid on an item that does not ship outside the UK, have it sent to you, and then forward it to me to Hungary? Unfortunately even the question section is disabled, so I am unable to try and ask if the seller really isn't willing to ship outside the country...

It is a 0.99 GBP starting price auction that ends in 4 days, for a pair of boots that have been discontinued for years now :( I've had a notification set for it for years, and based on this they show up less than once a year. I am lucky to own one that came up for sale about 1.5 years ago (technically the last one I've seen up until the current one - I'm not counting one that I saw in the meantime, because it was in wretched condition, not really wearable anymore IMO), but I truly dread the day when mine will become spoiled/will no longer be usable, so I would like to have another pair for backup.

Thank you for the help in advance!

The Dollhouse / Looking for Type 4 Pullip bodies + Tangkou Fairy doll
« on: February 22, 2019, 03:00:52 PM »
As the title suggests: I would be looking to buy (ideally 2) type 4 Pullip bodies. As for the skin tones, I would like them to be close to
- Disney Store's Rapunzel (based on this picture the proportions this body would give her are exactly what I'd be looking for. She seems to have show accurate proportions like this), and
- Disney Store's Anna from Frozen (I am looking to make a custom out of her, and the custom character also needs these proportions)

Does anyone have any they'd like to sell? Or could you please direct me to a place where I can buy such bodies? I know I already tried to look for Pullip bodies earlier on eBay, for instance, but I never really succeeded in finding only bodies... I considered Obitsu bodies too, but the Flickr user whose picture I linked above also has a comparison picture of these two, and the limbs on the Obitsu body are too chunky for the look I'd be after...

In addition, I am also looking to buy a Tangkou Fairy doll.
