Off Topic / Re: Weird Job Interview Questions
« on: May 23, 2015, 11:37:38 AM »
I had an interview a couple of months ago and the final question I asked was "Do you like dogs?". Threw me somewhat as it was an office job for a tyre company! Turns out they had an office dog, but when you prepare yourself for all sorts of role based & employment history questions, the last thing you expect is an everyday question that would have no place in an interview unless the company has something to do with animals!

I've used all mine, I'm afraid!Had to raid my parents collection for it too!
I'll be going to Disneyland CA in a little over a month, my first time since I was 5, 25 years ago! I'm really excited; I went to Disneyland Paris last year and had an amazing time, and may never leave this year!

Carrehz: I do have a custom of her; possibly made by Tic Tac Toe but I honestly can't remember....I don't have a photo of her on my pc anymore, but when I next visit my parents (where the vast majority of my collection lives) I'll take a new picture! She is in Posey's pose, and her glasses are sculpted on! She is beautiful!

Lady Lessons featured in a couple of the UK annuals, and some of the comics I believe, but she unfortunately was never a toy. She taught the Playschool Baby Ponies and School time ponies!

I've got Zecora, Gilda, Shining Armour, Apple Bloom & Photo Finish sets....seen them in lots of stores (Asda, Tesco, Forbidden Planet International)but have not seen the Applejack/Bog Macintosh/Granny Smith set anywhere yet.

I am also a Scorpio, and today I got what I can only describe as the most joyful message from Pinkie Pie ever:
"You need a balloon today. No reason, but every day is a good day for a balloon!"

That put a massive smile on my face ;p!

Pony Corral / Blind Bag Wave 6 out now in The Entertainer (UK)
« on: December 30, 2012, 02:22:37 AM »
Thought the UK residents would like to know that this wave is now out in The Entertainer (sorry if this is old news; I hadn't seen them before Christmas!). This is the wave that has the full painted versions of the previous crystal wave (Mosely Orange, Sassaflash etc).
They also have the mane 6 ponies in the new packaging (all still at £3.75 each) and I *think* I saw a styling Pinkie that I hadn't seen before (could be wrong there...). Also, the wedding castle playset is down to £27...

It came in a set, including Thumbelina, the prince & the swallow at least, and I think the beetle guy (I have them still from childhood but no idea how many are in the set/where they are)

Forbidden Planet have the wave 5 (yellow princess) Blind Bags, and Toys R Us and The Entertainer have Diamond Rose & Cherry Pie (the latter for £3 each, and they also have the Applejack/Star Dreams set). Other than that and the wedding castle, everything else seems to be mane 6.

Pony Corral / Re: Wave 5 Blind Bags - Quality... Oh dear!
« on: October 27, 2012, 04:26:49 AM »
I agree entirely; so many of the wave 5 I bought from Forbidden Planet have wonky eyes, scratched symbols, and Celestia looks to have a cross between a single pindot mould/tiny cigarette burn in her leg. At eleast half have paint splashes on them, too.

Myself, 2 guys who I've lived with for about 3/4 years, and 2 girls (well, women) who both moved in this year...we've all known each other for a few years, so it's very fun!

Just a heads up for Blind Bag collectors; they've had the Crystal wave 4 Blind Bad set (with Sassaflash, Mosely Orange etc) in Forbidden Planet for the past couple of weeks now (with apparantly hundreds in the warehouse!), and my friend who works there contacted me earlier this week to say they have news ones in; and they do; wave 5 with the yellow bags (Cadence on bag) that have Celestia, Luna and Cadence in. The bags are £1.99 so get them whilst you can! (I've already purchased most of the current stock in my local)

Thank you again, everybody! Well, she's here now, and absolutley delightful! My mom only got one in the end, but she's settled in really well; she's around 13 weeks now and she's absolutley hyper! Climbs everything and quite clumsy, but such a sweetheart too; she loves curling up asleep on everyone! I'm spending a lot of time with her as I'm not working, so bonding with her quite a bit!

I have a couple of questions on how to deal with some behaviour, if anyone can help answer?
Firstly, whilst she's happy to use the litter tray and there haven't been any accidents, she's taken to playing with the litter and the old newspapers underneath it, spreading it all around the kitchen. Are there any ways to stop this behaviour without dissuading her from using the litter when she needs to?
Secondly, she likes to "help" when you're eating dinner...as soon as you sit down with a tray, she climbs all over you (we sit on seats, not at a table) and makes every attempt to try and inspect the contents of the plate. We've taken to shutting her in a different room when we eat, but does anyone have any other advice on this?

Anyway, on to some photos! Introducing Tuppence!
